Are sanzienele and zane different creatures?

Well, to my knowledge, Zânele are all fairies in Romanian Folklore.
But there are also sanziene, vantoase, iele, drăgaice and other types of fairies, that can be named Zâne as well.
Its most likely a subcategory of Zâne.
In sources that I read, sânzienele are benevolent fairies (zâne) from the class of iele.

_Sânziana_ comes from OldRom: Sândziana, the words "Sân" from "Sânt" (Holy) and "Dziana" the name of the goddess. It has origins from Latin Santa Diana (Holy Diana) the goddess of the moon in the ancient Roman mythology. It is generally believed that Zânele (OldRom: Dzânele) also comes from the name "Diana" and represents fairies that represents her [the goddess].
