This series is the best quality historical presentation of any club on the internet. Just a brilliant job. Hope it comes out on dvd one day in the future.

I’m a Spur, man and boy. But I’ve never seen such a clever, funny and tragic documentary so well put together. I remember the dramas around Leeds from the early Seventies - the first game I remember is the ‘72 FA Cup final- what a great trigger for all those memories.
    Just superb.

there's a fair bit of Tony Morley destroying Leeds in this series.

That's true Morley was fantastic between 1980-82 and should have gone to the world cup but that old dinosaur Don Howe picked Graham rix instead

I started going to Elland Road aged 7 in 1973 and Sniffer was always my favourite player..Frankly though, aged 34 and "having been at Barnsley for a bit" wasn't really the manager pedigree needed. Still love No.8 Clarkey though...These films are brilliantly done, LUFC Films, thank you.

Really superb. Great stuff about Prince Andy and great pictures of Big Sam, Mick McCarthy and David Seaman. The Jimmy Saville book is chilling. With Saville appearing I assume we will have a cameo from the awful Peter Sutcliffe at some point. His terrible crimes cast such a huge shadow over the Yorkshire area and beyond during this period. Arrested in January 1981. Top marks for a great series. Keep up the good work.

Truly wish Sniffer had brought back a bit of success, but it ended in tears. I remember playing Man City at home & the Kop being cordoned off directly behind the goal after Corrigan had incited our fans in the FA cup in 1978. You can clearly see the empty space in this game.

Dwindling crowds and empty stadiums wasn't just a Leeds-not-doing-well-anymore problem. Football violence brought the gates down at every club. Comparatively Leeds were still a weel supported club at that time. They were grim times.
