Wicked Stage Model Act 1

- This is a stage model I made of Wicked the musical. I do not own any of the audio. The soundtrack comes from Wicked Original Broadway Cast Recording
This model was built to be 1:12 scale, and included lots of 3D printed details. The model was automated with tracks and fly bars to move sceneries. In this model I used a combination of actual theater lighting equipment and miniature led lights. The lighting was controlled by DMX signal.

I’ve always been obsessed with theatre and every time I see a show I get more obsessed, but seeing wicked I can’t not stop thinking about it. I’ve been listening to the soundtrack for the past week picturing it.

The actors didn't have to be on the stage for me to start crying at the moment when Elphaba came on stage. That music cue, the green lights- it's just so beautiful. I've seen Wicked two times live and it's just so magical and amazing seeing it live in front of me. And this is just some absolutely phenomenal work. I know I've commented here before, but I've revisited this video just now and I forgot how amazing this is. I can't put how impressed I am into words.

Oh my goodness!! This was absolutely amazing! Defying Gravity and No One Mourns The Wicked honestly captured the same feeling of the songs even without the actors! It's insane!! Amazing job, dude.
I’m usually too shy to comment on CZcams videos, but this is just brilliant! I’M SO AMAZED! I make scale models for architecture school too but those can’t match even one bit of this! This is just *(screams)* I have no words! Wicked is my ultimate fave and I love how much detail you put into this, even in editing the video itself!

Do Alladdin! That would be so cool. bc that play has so many props you would be able to put in a lot. especially when he's in the cave. and the magic carpet! so cool! omg and the bets part the led wall of stars that do really cool shooting stars and stuff. that would just be awesome.
