I remember playing fh1 on october 25, 2012. It was so good. Horizon has carried me through over a decade of life. It's insane to think about how much ive grown along side this game.

Same here! back then when i finally got a console for myself i got a xbox one with FH2 included and for me it was a blast one of the most fun games i ever played

Horizon 1 had the awesome vibes of a car and music festival from the scenery to the soundtrack music. Even the car list was unique. Cars like the 2012 Toyota FJ Cruiser and 2012 Mercedes S65 AMG with the 6.0 liter V12 engine have only appeared in Horizon 1 and so far, have not returned since then. For Horizon 2, the vibe of during summer road trips across Southern France and Northern Italy is truly amazing in my opinion. Add to the fact that Horizon 2 on the Xbox One delivered a true open world free roam map makes the experience even better.

And with Series consoles Forza Horizon 1 looks still amazing.

It's only right that we give one of the biggest racing series that took the world by storm the love it deserves, with a series of throwbacks and nostalgia galore. Even if the series has been steadily decreasing in popularity, it will still hold up as one of the highlights of our late childhoods.
Wouldn't say it's decreased in popularity, rather decreased in atmosphere, (car) cultural representation storyline and most importantly progression. FH5 is the most popular one of the series, while being the most bland, to appeal to the biggest audience
12:35 Could not agree more. It's why 2 was good fun as a story. You did not do all the races in the same car. You had to explore different classes etc. The road trip to the next area was great too. It's something I hate about being a "superstar" in the last two. The early games had you as a nobody, you had to follow the rules, you had named opponents etc. I'm replaying the first one now, and I've had more fun there than I did in 5 after I got halfway and did feel like I was working for the festival vs enjoying it. That and the story is better told on the early games vs the wide-cam conversations the new one has.
Horizon 3 wasn't my first Forza or my first Horizon game. I've played all of them in order. But it's the first one that i spent my money on and bought DLCs for and it was my first time spending time online in a game. Every single Horizon has its flaws and its strengths, i even enjoy Horizon 5 (way more than i did at launch) but man, Horizon 3 was just everything for me
Also i need Horizon to give me another charcater like Ali Howard. Talk crap to me in thr championship but in thr underground, he made players feel like he was inviting them into his own personal home.
Horizon 1 just hits me.. the wristbands, I was living in Colorado at the time.

Panths is the reason I got into horizon I watched his fh2 videos I had fh1 when it first came out but I didn't get into it properly until this amazing man here made videos on them
I got my first Xbox in 2019, with FH4 pre-installed. I found a copy of FH3 at a local shop, and I recently started playing around with FH5. Of those, I prefer the setting and feel of the cars most in 3. From what I've heard here and elsewhere though, I have to see if I can get 1&2.

My favorite list is FH1 / FH4 / FH3 / FH2 / FH5 / imo i for some reason actually really love 4 I think people and i were actually a little bit to harsh on it.
Nah bro, fh4 was terrible... Worst map, worst physics, worst sounds, worst community with the start of 12yo kids playing wallride, worst game modes with damn eliminator fortnite likeish 🤮... And finally the worst free ride system ever with no private servers... It was a shitty game and it will never change. Fh4 is part of why fh5 was that bad when he came out...
Is it just me or does anyone else remember when fh3 came about everyone hated it and said the world is too flat, but now it’s everyone’s favorite lol 😂

Man like.... Fh4 was great and is my fav. It is just that I love the weather system and the fall season in game and just driving around spending time was just great and also the lego expansion was creative

My favorite driving game is midtown madness 2, i love the london map in that game, so i have a huge bias for FH4 simply because it has UK roads

The artifacts are amd graphics driver issue. Rolling back to any drive before january 2023 should help

I didn't know the MK3 Scirocco was in FH1! And I don't remember seeing it in any other came other than FH5
there were so many unique cars in fh1 i remember i was 10 years old it was crazy learning about all these new cars
I enjoy the 4th one more even if they robbed players with the DLC's. My only real issue with playing Forza on pc, is the lack of communicating with people. You need to use the in game overlay to connect to your crew but the overlay doesn't work anymore and logging into your Xbox app, you can't connect with other players if you don't have them as a friend. Can't even locate your crew. The fun of using Xbox.
fh1 was my first and for me will always be the best
That's Interesting Theo And I Both Have Horizon 3 For PC And yet I Never had any Artifact Glitches or any issues With FH3 maybe That's Because I Use A Msi/NVidia Graphics Card.
I never had any problems with Horizon 3 on the PC. I use AMD.
Fh2 was my first game on 360 and I wasted every day on it and I have no regret about it

Honestly... When I played FH4 after playing FH3 so much I noticed it was slightly more slippery... But getting into FH5, it was awfull, I really felt the difference! I can't really explain it, the car seemed to be gliding or something

Horizon 2 was my first horizon and while I somewhat agree the "vibe" of Horizon 1 is better, Horizon 2 and 3 felt so inclusive. Specially when the convoy was added in 3 and you could just drive anywhere with a group of drivatars that would follow you. the world felt alive in those games. Favorite feature of Horizon 2 was the parking garage car meets. Fastest way to race people on there. So many memories.
Handling got more weighty/heavy as the games progressed imo

i have to say i love the huracan and i love that we have all versions of the car in fh5 the original huracan performante evo sto and tecnica and fh2 is proberply my favorite horizon game and fh3 was my first preoder game and fh4 is where i started to hate the horizon games

Back in 2012 I never owned a console. I was always a pc gamer and I still remember watching FH1 play throughs on CZcams. Finally bought an Xbox 360 on sale just so I could play the damn game. Core memories unlocked 🥲
Is anyone else that in NFS Unbound needs their unreasonable error code should be Criterion and EA, to be fixed the issue on 3's platform in multiplayer so able to play. Once been fixed

I think I like Horizon 2 more than 1 (Both on xbox 360, yes I know that 2 is horrible on there, but the atmosphere in my opinion is better.)
FH1 takes the top spot, with playing FH3 on my Xbox one x when i still had a Xbox takes a close 2nd. but yeh when i tried to reinstall FH3 on PC to replay one of my favourite Forza games, it's extremely sad with how bugged and broken to all fuck it is on PC. part of me hopes they will one day fix the game cause it's unplayable
