- Definitely green, but far from mean… Demo’d this unit and as you can see in the video, I was not impressed.
The arbor system on these electric mowers are different I guess so they can save energy. Thinner blades, no high lift options… I could see these being great in California or Florida, but not in the Midwest with blue/rye fescue. Just my two sense, everyone situation is different. - Auta a dopravní prostředky
Excellent review - thanks for doing this!
I have 2 ryobi riding mowers glad i spent way less money on them and have had zero issues
Good to know because Im thinking of buying this unit. I demoing the toro electric this week
My mower is doing great , I have it for few weeks, I love it ,
Ran into a similar experience with a 21" cordless walk behind, not enough lift. Battery life was good, lift was garbage. I'll stick with my Gas and Diesel units.
MPC is good people, always had good experiences with them.
Yeah the boys at MPC rock!
I thought I was the only one with this problem, I guess these mowers aren't tht great wen it comes to cut quality
It needs high lift blades but they suck batterry life I believe so they probably use medium to low lift for battery life
Different arbor on these electric guys. When I took this video (last year), high lifts were not even an option 🙄
@@Elementsian what’s arbor?
@@jaybrown29 arbor is what attaches your blades to spindles under deck.
@@Elementsian the toro claims to have 50hp equivalent. So that would be the most powerful mower I can think of. I use wright zks right now
@@jaybrown29 I’m a Vr2 guy, but if I wasn’t running Scag it would be Wright. Ran a Toro Grandstand for two seasons, wasn’t impressed on cut quality.
Wave of the future. Not sold yet on the idea
Yeah definitely not for me. Stick with what you know.
They apparently are coming out high high performance blades. I have the same issue as it doesn’t cut or shoot out clippings. We run high lifts on our gas mowers and in there is no comparison. Apparently there is a 25% more power update also. As of now tho is a giant paper weight for us. It’s only good when mowing at 2.5-2.75 inches and super dry and even then it’s not good.
Good info!!!!! Thank you
Yeah I bought a used one for a steal, not sure why they thought not including high lift blades or any other blade was important 😊
At least it was only 30,000 dollars
how much did you pay for it?
This was a demo unit. But they run around $25k I believe…
@@Elementsian $2500 or $25000?
@@rigor601 $25,000+ bud
God loves us sooo muchhhh
Don’t buy as it won’t cut grass properly. Even a double cut won’t look good and leave grass. It can’t deal with wet grass at all either or even morning dew. Brutal
Try to defend it all you want.. apparently this is a garbage mower
turn to the lord for he is with us repent and you shall be saved even I need to repent but gods love is so un imaginable god us so so good❤️❤️🙏god is so so good
Bargain
Biggest heap of shit mower we’ve ever used shit two motors on the deck in the first 38hrs of run time. Out for over a month replaced on warranty. Will not cut damp grass. Back to kubota for us.
Looks like a pile of shit to me. My city is forcing me to go all electric but i just dont know. I may just shut the whole business down. 🤷♂️. My local equipment shop says hydrogen is the future for small engines. I hope they hurry up and start creating something. I have never heard of a lawn professional impressed with any electric mowers. I could buy 2 or 3 commercial mowers for the cost of one of these pieces of shit.🤦♂️
This is the worst mower you could consider buying it’s extremely expansive and can not handle medium or tall grass. I have no idea why people purchase these garbage mowers
