I just picked up 2 LT250rs after an uncle passed away. My cousin wanted me to have them. So now, I’m going down a rabbit hole on rebuilds to freshen them up and restore them
My buddy had one of these and it was the fastest quad I had seen at the time. I had a Polaris trail blazer 250 and he smoked me by a mile. We raced around a half mile flat track. This was back in 1992. I don't think he had reverse though.
Hey there man you rebuild engines I live in San Fernando I remember hearing you went to Los Angeles to purchase a bike in one of your videos ! Wondering if you could help me out
@@ianmorado8865 yeah. We moved 2 times in the last year so kinda put this build on hold, but I have soooo much AM parts for this build and really need to start putting it back together.
@@HardEnduro8 right on same here just got an 88. Sounds like crank shaft bearings are shot- it runs but it runs rough. you should share your contact info - I love modelo too and would love to get some help bro
Yeah man. I just checked eBay right now. There are 4 1987 jugs and over 9 heads. Even aftermarket head brand new via Pro Design. The cylinders are the same 1987 through 1992.
@@HardEnduro8 thanks man I really appreciate it. I just got this quad for free without the top end and bunch of other parts. It's actually an 86 so I found some stuff on ebay that I ordered for the quad. Might have a couple more questions for you as this build progresses lol. But thanks for response it honestly helps alot.
