Can someone explain why they don't give the money to the couple who wins instead of leaving the decision to the person who picks the money envelope? It takes two to get to the final so the two winners should share the money.
Each islander is then presented with an envelope, one of which contains £0 while the other holds the full £50,000.
Whoever opens the envelope containing the cash has two options - split it or keep it.
they don’t do that anymore, whichever couple wins the money is split so each person gets 25k

Who will win this year's Love Island and the Placings that will occur:
1.- TY AND ELLA (Ella's vulnerability, particularly with her crying about the Whitney selfish comment and the coalition of Caucasian girls sympathy in the villa, generated a late momentum of votes)
2 -WHITNEY AND LOCHAN - Unfortunately, Whitney lost focus late in this competition being concerned in winning the battle (the smug/selfish battle) that the cost of that was her losing the war,.(the competition) The Caucasian majority viewing her as unsympathetic and unapologetic when the 'sitdown date' occured. Although an apology did happen afterwards. In the UK's eyes, it would be too little, too late.
3- JESS AND SAMMI- The UK have always been behind Jess and quite frankly the recent gf/bf union would be the push to even quite possible take 2nd spot... As an underdog, UK's betting would be right on par with Jess and the UK majority voting public
4- MOLLY AND ZACH ...For the show trying to save face, that their unprecedented efforts in bringing a contestant back on the same season amounted to something...Oh Molly
Lots of persuasion for whit and lochan to win, reason is whitney is a television personality, people actually love Ty and Ella, but Ella does not appear as "fun" as they like to be on the screen, thats why this massive push for Whit and lochan, but thats unfair and not right, because this is not "Personality of the year award" its love island meant to be about the strongest and most sincere connection. Ty and Ella to win, maybe not as sassy, but its about true and deep connection not about how funny someone is
Whitney is good on TV but she isn't a kind person overall - she tries to control everybody's language around her and honestly, that is quite toxic. She was giving bullying vibes to Ella... not good.
But Ella is a lot sweeter than Whit is.
