I'm not quite sure what to think about this. I wish the strainer was on, with more time on the ride cymbal with foot hi-hats on 2 and 4. Fills and fast roll with dynamics are nice, but not too much... Anyway I'm fully aware of how much time he spend practicing drums and his reputation growing up since he his amazing, since the finger stroke roll from his very first video I saw from him, with nice cloth. Now look, a simple black t-shirt...

He’s loud. And quite upfront in the beat so that sounds less jazzy. perhaps now more then in his older videos. I agree if you compare it to buddy rich or so; also loud but more in a shuffle feel also with straight beats.
