As mentioned in another post Rolly Crump was the person behind the Museum of the Weird. I think Marc Davis was not fond of the idea along with other imagineers. Other Rolly ideas was the one eyed cat before you get on the Doom Buggies and the chair with the face by the endless hallway that some say is Donald Duck.
Wonderful, brief message, sir. I know from personal experience the pain of feeling irrelevant, a waste of potentiality. Great chronology. Very interesting. thank you. Mark Davis was an icon. I believe he also created Cinderella and Snow White. He died over 20 years ago, but the imagineers are keeping his memory alive, which is very cool.

Would it be possibl for you to interview some of the costumed/character cast (Mickey, Donald, Goofy, etc.) OUT of costume, on what it's like being a Disney character, what some of their favorite things are about being that character, and maybe some "don't"s for guests interacting with them? What I really want is for someone to do a nice, high resolution walk through of the French Market. I'm homesick. I worked at the Market for 4 years back in the late 70s- early 80s, and in spite of having visited the park for years afterward, it still is my home. There are secrets guests can't see that originated with my friends, and I wish I could know if they're still there. Swamp Lives [if you know, you know].
Wasn't it Roland Crump who did the "museum of the weird"? Was responsible for the fun stuff at the last half of the Haunted Mansion. Great catch of the bat!! ❤️🦇

Did you talk to any of the Imagineers about the bat? You had a perfect opportunity. Maybe ask them next season. I would think they would love to interact with you.
