Great to be back and great to see Malone fully hunched forward for 3.5 hours so the car went faster

The pit stop at lap 167 was by far the most impressive thing I've seem Malone do. Green flag pit stops while leading is scary. Seeing a road racer like Matt pull that off was great to see.

Its NOT the 75th running of the Daytona 500, it's the 75th anniversary of Nascar. Daytona speedway was built in 1959 and held its first race that year. And my favorite moment was you killing half the field on the last lap. Priceless! LOL

Being a spiffing Brit I have no idea about this big roundabout racing but this was really fun, most enjoyable. I've learned a haunched over the steering wheel grandpa style provides positive results.
I've watched this 3 times now, not just to try and understand oval. Due to the crack from Malone and spotters, it's very entertaining. My conclusion, Malone drive's like a Brit, maybe time to find out about your family tree Matt. Interesting as this oval is, chess like, race tracks have many corners. But if I had this sort of support, I'd get into oval.... Very enjoyable.

Instead of focusing on the track ahead with the idea of getting ahead of car Infront in secondary vision. It seems in oval you focus on the bumper 5 foot in front. There's no way of pushing ahead to win..... Till the very last lap/corner......by the way on this track there are 3... Not 5....what is all that about.

Matt, what you did the last couple of laps is what I seem to do the first few laps...seriously you bring a ton of fun to anyone who watches iRacing. You remind me of the comedian on Saturday Night Live who was murdered by his wife. The dry humor is welcomed!

Two minutes later, after the restart, wrecks 3 separate cars before making it to the white flag...

Ethylene glycol only slightly raises the boiling point. The pressure is where you get the majority of the rise in boiling point. Ethylene glycol is used for 2 reasons lubrication and to keep your engine from freezing. That's why most race cars don't use it really good way to get banned from the track for life.
Been waiting all weekend for this, and at half way through I think it's the most entertaining 500 you've ever done 😂

Don't get why folks drive this track in 'lanes', rather than apexing corners and swinging out to wall in straights. Someone explain?
It's a super-speedway. You don't carry more speed through the turn running out-in-out like tighter turns. All you're doing is creating more distance. Just hook up with someone and go.

If they lifted restrictions and let the cars run at 220-230 mph then you'd see a widening of the corners but, my God, the chaos. It would be stupidly dangerous in an actual car. Most drivers would probably say "hell no!" At 190mph, at least you can run a line in a crowd and be moderately safe.
Can tell they are all pretty low irating. This is so fun in a league setting.

OMG that ending was horrible. The only time you followed yellow line was like 87% through the race... you finally learned how to follow it. smh
