Gorgeous! I'm so glad I found this video because cutting the sides of my paintings always makes me nervous. I'm going to try the fold and glue method right now. Thank you!
Thank you so much for this tutorial and linking the frame. This is exactly how I want to frame my DAC painting. Your finished piece looks gorgeous!
Great idea! I’m new, will definitely try this
Thank you so much for sharing. I am a visual person and this demonstration helps so much. I have Mother Earth that I want to do this for and this will really help me in completing.
Rachell Montgomery very welcome lovely, I am very much the same ☺️
I have hung Mother Earth in the same way, it looks so amazing 😍
Super simple, the only thing I would change is simply cutting the left and right edges off.
Totally understand that, for me I prefer to fold and glue down but I know many people that cut them down instead ☺️
Thankyou looks fantastic👏
really like your frame selection
I love it! Thank you so much... ☺️
I really liked this! And if your tired of it being on the wall can you roll it back up and put it away?
Hello…I’m opening a new liquor store and would like to hang my diamond art in the windows without frames, but it will get a lot of sun and heat. What is the best way to seal it and hang it where it will hold up and be visible on the street? Thanks
I did mine but didn’t glue it. Will definitely go back and glue now 😊
For me I did mine because the first canvas I did was pretty heavy and it kept slipping. I guess if it’s only a small one it wouldn’t be a problem but I wanted the extra security for it ☺️
Hi just asking what’s the name of the diamond painting
Beautiful painting, where did you get it?
Hi so sorry I missed your comment this one is made by Diamond Art Club
What do we call the frame that you used on this video? Where can we buy it?
I would also like to know. Thanks
I would like to know too
Why glue the ends when it is a magnetic frame?
Some of the heavier paintings won’t hold with just the magnets so I glue them, it’s a habit more than anything as most have been larger paintings before this one.
@@samanthagroves9344 i was wondering that too. you could just use strips of wood instead of the magnetic ones for the heavier ones, might save you some money. it's lovely though, im gonna do mine now
@@minxer1980 you definitely can indeed, I’ve got some ready for other paintings only cost a small amount for the strips of wood and some leather string
This music is making me feel so anxious!!
Did you seal the diamonds?
No I don’t seal any of my paintings, I don’t really feel the need. It’s totally a personal choice xx
What’s that blue tool you use to flatten side?
Looks like a card of some kind or maybe a scoring tool?
It’s a squeegee for applying vinyl, but anything would do as long as it’s not a sharp edge
Just cut the sides
