Not able to open the base cover, so not sure how to screw it on wall
I came here specifically for this. I just said eff it and used the gray 3M double sided tape.
Just picked up 2 on sale now for $29 each.
Where did you purchase them? Thanks.
@@flhandster4395Amazon
I love it, I purchased one Friday as a trial and error, then purchased 2 more Saturday. The video is so clear!
So if there was a thief inside the house and saw the camera, they can just swipe the privacy cover?
Remove the cover. All intruders would have to do is unplug the camera.
Yes but you would already have them recorded up until the time they swiped it.
Can it be used without wifi if you plug it in directly to the TV? Thank you
I never caught if it is directionally mounted...don't wanna mount upside down if there is such a thing. Directions say nothing either. Am I dumb? Lol
Do I have to pay another 3.99 on top of the 3.99 that I’m paying every month for the ring doorbell camera?
Is there a way to rotate images if mounting from a ceiling?
you can do it via app im almost certian
Did not find the info about how to screw it on the wall
can i take off the bottom of the camera and drill it down without breaking it
I know it says indoors but What if I leave it outside ?
I looked it up they're not weatherproof. so if it gets rained on it's probably going to get damaged.
@@helix9268They have a version for outdoors.
Can I monitor from anywhere worldwide using my phone without a subscription?
Yeah , but you can't access recordings with a subscription.
You have access to live view and get motion notifications
It being a wired cam is a deal breaker for me. I'm cutting down on plug in tech and want mostly battery powered.
Video Quality really doesn't matter because we're not making home movies, A court room judge will not be asking for clearer Video Quality
Can you turn off just the audio?
A massive brand , that’s still stuck on 1080p
Because 4K is so important for consumer security videos that will only ever be viewed on a tiny smartphone or Echo Show.
This massive brand knows far more about its market than you ever will. Grow the hell up.
How is HD a bad thing?
@@GretSeat never said HD was a bad thing. Just that their stuck on 1080p . At least doorbell got upgraded to 2k.
Literally no details on how tf to mount this dumb camera.
How long is the cord?
These camara’s are junk 3 weeks old and just died battery charged just won’t turn on. I’ll stick to blink and nest best out there and better motion detection.
Amazon reviews suggest otherwise and these do not run on batteries. And everyone who is anyone knows that Ring 2nd gen is better than Blink and far better than the overpriced Nest garbage. Do they pay you to leave this comments? LOL!
Yes, my camera must be an older model as it’s a little bit different than the one you’re showing here I have two of them one died but one seems to be working fine still with the solar panel these ones do have batteries.Nest cameras are very expensive but I’ve had one for five years and it records 24 seven and never had a problem with it.
Blink\Nest are decent, but Ring cameras are by far superior. But if you found something that works for you, then just stick with it.
1:27: You do realize 1080p *is* 2K, right?
That's what I get for watching a tatted teenager try to explain technology to rest of us who have real college degrees.
1440p is 2K...
Looks like you didn't learn about screen resolution at your college or elsewere.
