    Wow love your videos very informative and concise, thank you, beautiful specimens, please when u cut the tops of your plastic bags cut the tops again so they're not circular anymore to avoid wildlife getting strangled in them in landfills...and anything that you throw away that has same strangling effect. Thank you

      Hi costakaloidas, No it wont work on a section that already has had growth or flowered in the past. Make sure to use ones that have never had growth on it and that its a new spine.

      Once I remove the pieces off from the rootstock I don't graft it back. I will only graft the new spines that I have interest in producing.

    Should you remove the rest of the spines on the rootstock or should that be left until the scion takes?

      I personally keep them on after a graft for 10 days. If I notice that the v cut graft has taken. Then I will remove all the other spines to now only focus growth into that graft. I do this because if the graft fails, I can re-use that rootstock to graft again without having to use another one. If you end up cutting out all the spines, you can always use it to cleft graft after! 😁
