    I live in N Texas and when they started building houses in back of mine we started getting coyote moving into our backyard. There was a sickly, gentle one that used to come up to our fence (we have a portion of our backyard fenced for our dogs and the rest undeveloped). We felt bad for her and would throw hot dogs over the fence for her. She would come almost every night and when we didn't see her we'd worry. We thought she'd moved on but one day while walking around the property we found skeletal remains 😪 Maybe it was wrong to feed her but they were here before us and she needed help...and try calling the city about that. Domestic animals barely have rights, much less wildlife.
