Thanks for educating us and clearing our minds. I remember when it happened I read the whole interview on Vogue's site and because of manipulation in my surrounding, and my shallow wit, I even started condemning what she said and started questioning so many other things in the interview too. However, now I'm regretting what I did.
I respect malala and I believe we all should as she is our national asset.
P.s The last line sums up it all "She doesn't need us we need such people"

This country needs a ministry of common sense. Who is Malala ? Why millions, irrespective of color, caste; a diverse langue-ethnic identities, give respect to her? Its unfortunate, for those who are going to criticize someone nearly half of their age, without knowing the height of her persona in the eyes of millions living out of Pakistan. She is a symbol of peace, harmony and girls education representing Pakistan and our cultural values on a global scale. Malala is larger than life. By the way your deep and comprehensive analysis ,I personally feel, is fit to be praised, laudable; commendable which spark a sense of cognitive mental approach to think out of the box .May you have many more happiness and a healthy life.

Thank you. Finally someone from Pakistan defended Malala and how! The kind of hatred coming out of Pakistan for that girl is mind boggling. Not that Indians are any more progressive and free from misogyny. It's just that while there was so much criticism of Malala, hardly anybody came out in her defense! Believe me, that doesn't happen here. Shit like this is said a lot but they get criticized a lot too here. And people like Frozen Khan or whatever his name is, are obnoxious and more dangerous to any society because they pretend to be knowledgeable and "cultured" but are actually, for the lack of a better word, absolute morons! Can't think of a single Pakistani who is both internationally and locally admired. This crab mentality has seeped into both Indians and Pakistanis ever since the British occupation of this region. People genuinely concerned about a cause need to disassociate with Pakistan to make a positive impact. That being said, there is still hope for the Pakistani people. We have seen the rise of Religious figures like Engineer Mirza who challenged the status quo; we could maybe, slowly, improve.
