If all we are to each other is our money and taxes, then why did we make modern society? When we didn't have money, we didn't lose each other. The world should be ashamed.

Before Prop 13, taxes in California on houses were going up so much that people were being priced out of their houses. It sounds like that's what got this guy.

American people helping American people is how we get along; if you can ❤be the miracle for someone in their time of need

There are other examples of this very thing. There is archival local news footage of a big fire that happened. I think in the Adams district in around 1984. in that report residence affected by the fire were interviewed these residents were homeowners. These residents were all black American homeowners.
Same area this is another example reminds me of, same area: the former mutual building on the corner of Western and Adams. One of the first black American owned financial companies in Los Angeles if not the US. Now it’s turned into a government dependence, single mom building.
One last one, it appears that many formally owned black American homes in South Los Angeles are being bought up by non Black Americans and now liberal Anglo interlopers.

Property taxes in California if we don’t change that people are not going to be able to pay their property taxes even though the house it’s paid off.
You should pay on your purchase price 1% not more. We are paying on a fictional price that the county keeps raising and raising.
We need politicians that change that. Urgent

Most of the chronically homeless have drug addictions and mental illnesses.😢 Taxes are out of control as is the costs of living. Rents are way out of proportion to incomes. Lately the elderly have been pushed into the streets too. This is happening across our cities in
America. Also add millions of immigrants who need the same services these people can’t afford ?😢

Not true. Folks become homeless over medical debt in this country. Folks work 2+ jobs and can't keep up with increasing rents and the price gouging of our basic needs, all in the name of profit for huge corporations and their CEOs. We claim to be the richest country in the world, yet we're the only (out of G7 countries) one that doesn't take care of our people.

Black people--MY people, who I love with every fiber of my being--don't wanna hear this, but I'ma say it:
If you have adult children and you end up homeless in your golden years,
You were derelict in your duties as a parent.
