The 112-foot Adi Yogi statue that was recently inaugurated at Chikkaballapur near Bengaluru is now open to the public and the management of Isha Foundation announced that people can now visit the statue on all the days. The Adi Yogi statue is a replica of a popular statue at Coimbatore’s Isha Yoga center.

Long back I suggested to visit Makalidurga. We stayed in the resort at the foothills. The place looks extremely beautiful during monsoons. I have been there almost 5-6 times now :)
That resort is still not officially opened dur to the approach road hence not listed, but the food and location is really good. If you plan to visit, let me know I will share the contact details. They have individual rooms with parking next to it. Extremely peaceful place, especially the morning and evening is really good.

I and my wife have been following Sadhguru for last 9 years - are also part of Isha voluntary community here in Sydney and we’re close to Sadhguru and volunteered when he visited Sydney and many events here - did our Shambhavi sessions as well - next look forward to visit Coimbatore centre - in the mean time we sometimes visit the local Buddhist vipasana centre around here !!!Specially Loved this video for the above and obvious reasons😃

Your time got wasted in Makalidurga, you could have reached early to see beautiful view of temple, light show and lake before the temple. Anyway next time plan in day time, atleast in evening specially for drone shots.
