#3stooges #threestooges #thethreestooges - Komedie
This year definitely has its hits but definitely a tulmultuous time for the act as well. Curly had passed this year, studio had to make cuts which let go of long time producer Hugh McCollum and director Edward Bernds following suit out of loyalty to McCollum and Shemp going through a minor stroke which you can see affect his performance in some of the later shorts.
Excellent observation - I noticed Shemp's health started going "south" with "Spooks" (1953) and it just got worse from there. I am in the minority when it comes to the Shemp remakes/re-workings because I like all of them (except "Hot Ice" and the three "Fake Shemp" shorts - I do love the "Fake Shemp" short "Hot Stuff" better than "Fuelin' Around" because Larry is so hilarious in the "new" footage).
This is the year Curly passed away. I wish he took better care of himself. Guy was infinitely talented
Thanks for the knowledge.
A poor remake of Curly's original.
Yeah, and the short "He Cooked His Goose" was filmed on January 7-9, 1952 just a little over week before Curly died. I read that on January 7, Moe was contacted on the set to help move Curly to the Baldy View Sanitarium in San Gabriel for what would be the last time, then he died 11 days later.
I loved the Saturday morning Stooges, especially when I was a real kid in 1962! Now I'm just a 68 year old kid in 2024!😃
Once a fan always a fan.
Oh a youngster.
Ditto
I remember when I was a kid my dad got me hooked on this show, every time when the show came on he had me record it for him using VCRs at that time so he can come home later and watch it with me ..Been a fan ever since...it's 2am here and right before bed getting my fix. 51 yo now 🎉
Me too
all of them are at rest now, many got hurt giving us laughs, rip, thank you.
I can’t imagine what it was like for them to film these episodes while grieving the loss of Curly
Love it... Love it ❤ Long live the Three Stooges 😂
Shemp is the best. Luv it!
0:01 a missed fortune

Gents in a Jam (1952)

I'm less disturbed at Moe accidentally putting glue on his hotcakes than I am at Larry purposely putting ketchup on his. 🤢
Hot cakes means pancakes, right?
@@aspenrebel As far as I know.
@@aspenrebel No, Flapjacks.
RIP Curly the "Foil" Stooge.
Thank you guys. I can watch over and over. 😢 I miss days done by...
Great classic ❤still watching 3 stooges 40 years later since I was a kid especially before bed thanks ❤
1952 was a great year for the stooge shorts and the final year of all-originals, before the Jules White "stock footage" decline. Three Dark Horses gets my vote for best short--love that "bird inside the turkey" gag... 😂😂
But it was also a sad time for them because our favorite 3rd stooge, Curly, passed away

My favorite stooge shorts for 1952 are "Gents In a Jam" followed by "Corny Casanovas" and then "3 Dark Horses" which has the stooges supporting a "Bernie Sanders" style candidate advocating for a "Two Hour" work week! Hilarious! Shemp is really excited about that two hour work week until Moe sets him straight- "Don't be a chump ya chump, you can't believe all that stuff, that's a campaign promise". Truth! The stooges were ahead of their time! Also in "3 Dark Horses" Moe breaks the record of how many times he says "Get outta here!" (six times) and "Come on" (six times). In "Gents in a Jam" Uncle Phineas is worth 6 million bucks which would be worth nearly 70 million in 2024!
Love this line (from Larry) in '3 Dark Horses'...Moe: How much did Stewers manager give you to vote for him? Larry: "Fifteen hundred bucks..." Moe: "We can buy a boat and go fishing...you got worms?" Larry: "Yeah but I'm going anyway..." LOL...they always used that inside joke about tapeworms...
A Curly remake. Shemp had his moments.
Shine time for Shemp time!
R I p curly
The year that we would lose our favorite stooge.
This episode, while a GREAT one, was a re-make of an earlier episode with Curley.
[At the moment, I cannot recall the title of the original Curley episode.]
NOTE: There were some script alterations!
It's a damn shame Emil Sitka didn't have the chance to become the "7th" stooge. He would have terrific. Best supporting character next to Bud Jameson, Vernon Dent and Christine McIntyre amongst others as well.
Christine was HOT
Emil is possibly my favorite character. He is so animated. Awesome talents for these episodes all of them.
12:20 “Excuse me, I’m wearing my short eyeballs”. Lol
40:43 Larry: The tax won't come out
Shemp: They went in maybe their income tax!!
😂😂
LOVE THE SOUND EFFECTS!!!!!
Let's see there's a can of Glue & a can of Maple Syrup on the table, I wonder which one Moe will put on his Hot-Cakes !!!
Looks like Moe took a beating to himself!
SHEMP da Best !!😁👍🏻👍🏻
Can you fix it? Can we fix it? Can we? Lol 😅
Moe,curly.and shemp were brothers in real life
The Horowitz brothers, Moses, Jerome and Samuel.
And in "reel" life.
@@eeddieedwards3890 I started watching them when I was a little kid back in the 60s
@@user-mg3kd6sp7n To quote Curly, "That's a coincidence!"
@@eeddieedwards3890Not only that, but their mother Jennie Horwitz and Larry's mother Fanny Lieberman Feinberg were both mothers!
Now i want pancakes.. mmm
Me to
My mom make me 🧑 👩 🧓 Made them pancakes & 🥞🥞 Scrambled Eggs with cheese 🫕 🧀 & Bacon 🥓 with 2 types & Banana 🍌 with with light sugar & Orange 🍊 Juice 🥤 🧃

😁👍🤩🤩
Every pet shop I've ever seen always has a big office with a desk and a secretary in an outer office.
Shemp doing the fancy footwork (moonwalk?) at 47:05 is hilarious.
Moe curly and shemp were brothers in real life
You know the short "A missed Fortune" kinda ends on a cliffhanger because we didn't see them escape the hotel and the manager said he was going to get the police so we'll just assume they got away. Lol

At 33:38 minutes in, when I saw this scene couple days ago for the 1st time I noticed right away what Larry was wearing; like him wearing a maids/handmaiden’s cap?!? I’ve never ever seen a boy ever wear one before globally; it’s just makes me giggle and smile ever time I see him wearing it!! Maybe every boy should start wearing these when he’s house cleaning or cleaning anything!! If some girls/ladies wear these sometimes then boys can too!!
Emil Sitka did his own stunts in "Gents in a Jam" and is super hilarious (Emil is super hilarious in this short) - I love when his knee gives out for a moment with that "cracking" sound effect. And that "foot to the face" ending is awesome! My favorite Emil stooge short and the one where he has the most screen time (with "Brideless Groom" a close second and "For Crimin' Out Loud" third).
My 3 best favorite episodes of 3 stooges are Goof On The Roof, Three Dark Horses and Loose Loot because a couple of scenes had me died laughing and I love watching every minute of them 😅😂😂😂
I love every single short of the 3️⃣ Stooges & all of them & always have & always with 4-Life me & me Friend Robbie & Greg Also!!!!
😁👍🤩🤩
Muchas gracias por compartir tan buena serie 😊. Esta serie es inolvidable con buenos actores, buenos argumentos y bellas actrices invitadas. ❤😊❤
Some real hits this year
I saw Perry White, Clark Kent's boss in one episode with the exploding cake. I'm sure that was John Hamilton
GREAT CESAER’S GHOST…That was John Hamilton.
pause at 14:24... pretty impressive of Moe, to be in his 50s to jump that high and heel click.
Me too
Shemp is the best luv it
He cooked his goose was tender because this was the last time Mo would transport curly to what would be his last facility before his passing
I was 4 yrs old back then
"happy Valentine's Day your Hot girl Iris Heart"
This is a very funny episode
14:23
"Superman' giving away cars!
Shemp gets the 'works' at 8:16.
8:12 I laughed so hard at that
Before Michael Jackson and Before James Brown., there was SHEMP with his fascinating & AMAZING Footwork.. He established the Back & Moon Walk.
SHEMP was the most entertaining 😁👍🏻
Wherever there are XY chromosomes, there are also genes for the Stooges, with neighboring genes for Robots and Monkeys. 😜
36:00 38:46 The Three Stooges stay ready for trouble. The only problem is the only trouble they have is themselves
Shemps fancy footwork hahaha. 🕺🏻
@51:31. How did the bag of golf clubs move over to the right resting against the chair? Did the little dog move them over?

Comedy is great if you enjoy it
Opening credits of the first one says copyright 1951?
Iris heart gives me some candy
The end
Why did the stooges recycle the same curly skits with shemp?
It was the studio exec's decision to save money.
I was always shemp guy myself....
A Missed Fortune (1952)/A Wealthy, Healthy, and Dumb (1938)
In three stooges listen judge...
Shemp Howard: Thirty-eight pounds, how many people out there?
Larry Fine: Oh, about SIXTEEN.
Moe Howard: I'm gonna put off murdering u till u collect your paycheck. How's that cake?
Shemp Howard: Wonderful. If we didn't hold it down, it would float away.
Moe Howard: If I want a smart crack, I'll make one myself. Put the candles in & get it out there. Come on, get busy.
Shemp Howard & Larry Fine: Alright, alright.
Moe Howard: Here.
Shemp Howard Larry Fine & Moe Howard walk to the people with a cake.
Best wishes, this is Michael Meneses.
