Robots have come a long way, and are starting to look like " Humanoid Androids", however they are still akin to writing with a chisel against rock, in terms of capability. When a robot can walk up to me , bend over and and tie up my shoe laces, only then will they begin to be getting smart.

@ShanareeHamrick Well, it's real in the sense that it's a video overlay (watch how it DOESN'T move with the arms movements all the time) - it's not the wristband projecting things - yet, anyway :) But a a nice concept, definitely.

So, walking is too energy intensive? Hm, I know about a dozen human level robots that come around. Also, too expensive? 1X Neo is planned for 8000 USD, Tesla Optimus for 20.000, the one Chinese that has a price (not a target) so far is 16000. This IS expensive - no discussion - but not TOO expensive. Especially if this robot would do house chores (which is the target for the 1X Neo) - the "sex" part would be defined not by a price, but by the HIGHER price compared to the non-sex-version. if Tesla decides to sell the Optimus for 25000 USD and the TeslaCatgirl version (fully usable) for 30000 - guess what, it will sell. The main point of "too expensive" is likely "we lack the customer base for this being a real robot so it is too expensive to i.e. train millions for AI".
