      I’m also thinking of one of the Culdee fell engines based on the shade of purple though I’m not sure which one but ivo hugh is also up there. 💜💜

    Love the idea of Fred rescuing another engine. And that cliffhanger really has me excited for the next story. As a certain helicopter would say “well done, cheers, and keep up the good work!”

    That was a fantastic episode. Nice to see Fred in action again and Lyra seems like an interesting character. Sir Handel really judges too soon on things. The accident serves him right. Smudger's new look was a surprise and I think I might have recognized who the engine was at the Steamworks at the end.

    as much as I like your work, I have to admit that episodes start too much like early HiT era and some scenes are too long
    don't drag the episodes too much when there's nothing to say so the flow is nicer and check your volume levels. There's too much bass in vocal lines and these are 'booming' and getting distorted, but that's easily repairable in EQ. Music can be too loud, so when there's voice, drop it down a bit. Also - watch the volume levels on voice clips because some are louder and some quieter.
    I enjoy your episodes but these things make the watching experience a bit challenging sadly

    • @TenShine1productions
      @TenShine1productions  Před 28 dny

      @@JamezP I will always admit. Volume balancing is not my speciality and can need some work.
      But I ultimately do these videos for my own enjoyment and hobby. So my writing style isn't going to change.

    • @JamezP
      @JamezP Před 28 dny

      @@TenShine1productions you don't need to change - it's good
      but you need to catch yourself so you don't repeat anything. If a narrator says that someone saw something, that someone doesn't need to repeat the narrator. If you do voices, let them speak instead of narrating what they're going to say.
      Otherwise it's like in thomas' season 12. That's all you'd need to fix to make it better.
      And of course all that 'on the island of sodor...' intro. I know it's just one sentence in your case but if it's a single long story, it's better to jump straight to the action. Every episode connects to the earlier ones so it's not really necessary to say it.
      But that's one sentence so I tend to overlook that.
      about volume - there's no magic needed
      if something is recorded too loud, just lower the volume in your editing software. For example in vegas is just one move of a mouse. But the thing that takes me out of the pleasure of watching it is the abuse of bass. Try to use the equalizer on vocal lines (mostly narrator's) and just drop the lower frequencies to a half of their volume so it's not booming like an old vhs.
      Other than this - your stories are amazing and don't need to change the style etc
