Fun fact: J Cole actually made his own Dead Presidents 3 but thought it wasnt good and when he heard Logic DP3, he told him personally that he did it, he made the best Dead Presidents song that could possibly be made

Yep, a few people have pointed that out. We were still in awe of a line before that one so we weren't 100% tuned in. This song has back to back bars so on the first listen, it's easy to miss some things. That line was dope though for sure.

Then I saw metallica, avenged sevenfold, and black sabbath on here which are also in my top 10 favorite metal bands. I’m glad ya’ll covered this. This was the first tape I heard from Logic and I thought the first 2 songs I thought were dope but this made me bug out and rewind it a couple times. This is where I became a fan of him. He bodied this with the pianos from Blueprint 2, the Dead Presidents sample. We all know how amazing Hov is, you gotta do something amazing to be worthy of touching his material, and Logic did his damn thing.

I haven't listened to old Logic in a long time, but what I gotta say: the folks who slept on him when Everybody came out and said he was wack, they didn't listen to DP3. He had solid tracks, that's the Logic that caught all the og fans.
In logics song Roll call he samples the infamous Andrea 3000's beat of "Sorry Mrs Jackson" and goes about another real raw come up story and is lyrically untouchable with metaphors and construction of bars
