People worry about extremely rare problems like being left behind by the boat or an agressive share, but the likeliness to get into trouble because of a loss or failure of your mask is so much higher. Since my rescue diver course I have a spare one with me on every dive and handed it out many times to other divers who's mask was badly leaking or who's rental mask didn't fit - and I'm not even talking of broken glass or mask straps.
Thank you for explaining that to the “rest of us” we need it. More than likely you could have made a bad dive a good dive with this video.
