Thank you for letting me know it was helpful. I got this over a year ago when it was first released. I’ve been seeing this V8 now come with more bonus accessories.
This helped me repack my V7 Absolute...everything is the same. Not to return since I love the thing but just to unclutter and put away when I'm not using it.
May I know if the 2 circular "discs" covering either sides of the main pivot of your direct-drive attachment, rattle a bit more than what you're comfortable with, for a brand-new piece? I've gotten a new absolute as well, but there's just a wee bit more "play" in the said portions of the direct drive attachment than I'm comfortable with...
Hello, I just check my Direct Drive Cleaner Head and didn't notice any issue with rattling with the circle disc. You mean the circular disc that we use a coin to turn to remove the roller bar to clean? My main default cleaner head is the Soft Roller one. I rarely use the direct drive head but didn't see any problem or "play" in that portion. I would suggest finding a demo model at a store to compare against yours. Maybe contact Dyson to see if they can swap out that part for you if you believe its defective or not up to Dyson's standard :) good luck!

oh. I do love my V8. Wish I would have known that they will release that grey wand color instead of the gold/orange wand I got but its all good. Congrats on your new V8!
I had to use my own screws for the wall mount too. You will have to find the appropriate screw or drywall anchor for your wall to mount it. For such a pricey vacuum, Dyson should at least include some basic screws right?
After a year+ using this V8 vs my Dyson canister, I still grab this cordless first before dragging out the canister. Costco have the best deal for it now for $409.99 until 12/30/17 This is the exact package I have and paid $599.99 before tax about a year ago but without all the extra accessories. No I'm only interested in their cordless line. I just placed my order for the V8. I'm too excited! I love vacuums! I'm upgrading from the old DC59.

Khoa Phan Hi, the v8 absolute I've gotten in Singapore comes with a gray wand. Some of the supplied accessories differ from yours too.
