The side filter should be replaced every 20k miles.

    Great video!

Nice video and great tech. Question, was the front bumper pulled to get to trans lines? Or was that a different procedure to look for cooling issues? Is it worth changing the filters early at 7500 miles like chevy recommends on the C8 tremec? Seems Ford doesn’t but thoughts on that?

No need to change your filters that early. Follow this:

Like always, very informative video. Was this service provided under warranty? And how in the world do they allow to be back there ? LOL I can barely get mined serviced, yet alone be back there with the tech

Thanks! Yes, this was warranty work. The tech was nice enough to let me hang with him and film.

I have a 2020 and live in north FW. Do you still recommend this dealership and tech?

I do! He is excellent! Reach out to me if you’d like to connect. I have an email listed on my info page here. I’m also on www.FordGT500.com daily as Goose17.

How do you take out the trapped fluid then, even though you drained it? Or is it not enough to have an effect on mixing the new fluid with the trapped fluid? Im at 20k miles with mine and have the steps down, just concerned with the remaining trapped fluid if I do this procedure myself.

Trapped fluid will be inconsequential in the big picture. I guess if you really wanted to, you could blow out the cooling lines with air.

Crazy question, I know the Tremec duel clutch changes gears super fast, I think its 80 milliseconds but is there any mods/parts to makes it change gears faster for the drag?

Yes, it’s fast. For drag racing, keep the steering wheel top dead center. That will give you the hardest shifts. The tranny eases up on the shifts when the steering wheel is deflected from center.
