Fantastic overview of, IMHO, the most beautiful car ever built. VERY nicely done. That ext/int color combo is breathtaking, jaw-dropping, just plain stunning.
Why do some people dislike owners of these cars? If you don't like them then don't buy one. If your mad because you can't afford one, that's your fault. I guess the car's menacing look scares people. I would drive this car for the fun id have and how I could share that joy. Not as a damn fashion accessory.
If I were you, I'd buy a Nissan GTR, a still good-lookin car and an absolute BEAST when it comes to its speed and acceleration.

Bruce Frausto Beyond true lol I love the GT-R and I respect everything that it does but if you got to choose either car for free everyone would take the aventador because its stunningly beautiful

Nice ride. The only bone I have to pick is the paddle shifts not being on the wheel itself. It just makes more sense that way when your coming out of a turn and want to shift up and the paddle shift is out of touch

What happens, if you keep these cars in Sport mode all the time? I mean driving around in sport mode the whole day, or for example for 3 years. Is it good for the car, or should you put it in comfort mode ( Or in this case Strada mode) sometimes?

Always wondered what happens if it rains with the rear glass slated engine cover. Won't water get in and what about when your washing it as well ?
Alfa Won Due to the angle of the glass and large overlap of the panels, water entering the engine compartment isn't a major concern. Even if some water does enter the engine compartment sensitive components are protected from moisture.
For a half a million dollars you have to manually remove the top...Wtf

I agree about not taking the Aventador Roadster to the track, where I live in Newport beach it is common to buy these type of cars as an accessory oppose to a tool or piece of automotive art. My good friend has the SV version and it never touched a track but once it went to the Great Park air strip for a run into the high hundreds (i watched on the sidelines). And even my dad when he owned his 599 never drove it harder than he drives his current E63
And that is what I hate. When people just buy these for status. I would personally buy this for enjoyment and for the love of cars.

This is my dream car. Here are some modifications I want for the roadster. It will have a 10
liter V12 engine extra clunches. It will go fast! Quad Turbo = Faster. It would beat a Bugatti Veyron!!! MPH: 290 8 gear shifts, Horsepower (possibly) 820. Gold rims, chrome and part gold exterior, leather and gold interior instead of silver. Exhaust pipe would still be silver. That is my dream Lamborghini Aventador Roadster

gorgeous aventador..love that color..would love to have that car and that dog..lolol...avenatdor's are incredible, but they do not sound as good as the older V12's in the LP640 & LP670 SV...must be nice to drive cars like this around and get paid to do it.

Hypothetically, but I do plan it sometimes in the future for a Aventador roadster, I like the azurro thetys (light blue metallic) color, but is there an interior to match it? I've seen images of the beige interior but I'd prefer to match the colors. Can you customize it?
+Mohammad Saad Good to hear, the only AV's with light metallic blue have tan seats, so they probably didn't customize it.
+Mohammad Saad Baby blue doesn't seem luxurious to me, but everyone has their own taste. I just need the interior and the brakes to match the blue metallic colour. And yes, owning a Lamborghini is possible, you just need lots of knowledge. ;)

man what a thing of beauty. A very good review. However, my thoughts - if ever i could afford to buy and maintain it, I still wouldn't cuz this would bring alot of attention to you on road, which personally makes me uncomfortable.
I sat in a Ferrari 458 Italia roadster a few days ago and the back of the seats were hard as a rock.

What ia the difference between a 2012 lambo aventador and 2016 lambo
the aventador recieved a major hardware update in late 2012, as in 2013 models. start/stop was only integrated then through the installment of independent capacitors. the ISR, aventador's single cluch transmission, and ECU recieve software updates for better efficiency. also, don't quote me on this, but i think the engine was more finely tuned from then on. the 2013 model is similiar to the ones this year with the 2017 model being a major facelift one
