  • We now step into the late 80s Bond era, with Timothy Dalton taking the mantle for a short time. The complete opposite of Roger Moore, Dalton wished for a more serious take on the Fleming character, couched in a pragmatic story and with a tone to match. Turns out, that's exactly what the filmmakers wanted to do as well. Over time, the Dalton films have become overlooked with the general public, but was this an approach that went unappreciated in its day and are the films worthy of closer examination?
