About the show:
'Dhe Chef', South India's biggest cooking reality show is aired on Mazhavil Manorama friday to sunday at 8 pm. The show tests the culinary skills of the selected contestants through the series to eventually find the 'Dhe Chef of the Year'. The format of the show, set in the back drop of kitchen and cooking with mega prize money on the table for the winner and runners up, will be an enchanting palate of culinary indulgence and fierce competition
Actor Dileep, who has mastered the nuances of delicious food, launched the show. 'Dhe Chef' is hosted by actress - anchor Jewel Mary along with renowned RJ Mathukutty. The judging panel consists of 3 professional Chefs - Chef Anjali Ramaswamy, Chef P V Pradeep and Chef Amrit Jose Appadan.
The show follows a dynamic pattern, with a mix of indoor and outdoor shoots. It has all the major factors of reality shows like twists, pressure tasks, time restrictions, mysteries, wild card entries, elimination rounds, safe zones and of course, presence of celebrity guests. Participants are also tested on group and individual rounds. What awaits the title winner are prizes worth 50 lakhs. The runners up will also be awarded exciting prizes.
20 contestants are selected from 40 short-listed participants who will compete with each other to win the title of 'Dhe Chef'. Brace yourself and get ready to witness some foodelicious episodes.

I watched both episodes 66 and 67 on TV and I think the judges are doing a fantastic job. You never know how the dish tastes. It is only the judges who are getting the flavor of the cooked food. The wild card entry gave opportunity to every one equally. As chefs the contestants are supposed to keep their work stations clean and without much wastage. They must have received these instructions when they initially participated in the show. The show is very good and wish that the right performer win. Reality shows are all about performance. Whether you have got right talent but that particular day of performance might get you down..

Anjali madam Regarding Wild card entry Srilaxmi and shyla done good job ok But whare is variety too simple and shyla biriyani also too simple we dont want this too simple dishes We want innovative and creative dishes like DHANEESH .
he no add artificial colours so what thats a good thinking he also care our viwers health also .but one thing like to share anjali madam and VIWERS Dhaneesh never use almond paste in Sauce he use RED APPLE .NOT ALMOND ONly use cashew powder for crumble and top banana puree.and anjali madam plzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz take back DHaneesh we dont want Sri laxmi. Dhaneesh say that his mother says that he dont hve luck oh its too heart touching madam.

hi Lekha. Its true Dhaneeshs dish was good but we were to choose 3 ppl to go ahead and he lost just by a little... he lost marks on presentation and because his almond was not skinned his sauce was inedible. So just by a small margin. But am very proud of the boy he has come a long long way...
+Anjali Ramaswamy .. Mam don't feel bad about the negative comments that you got from youtube. Their comments are without tasting and how we judge a dish without taste it.. If any one say your marks are not from your conscience, for the taste and other components, just give them a smile :) and leave it. From a competition every one can't get first prize.

Ridiculous judgment. The judges comments did not match the results and they need lot of explaining to do. Why this kind of step mother treatment to wild card entries, if they are not needed they could have simply scrapped the wild card round. a contestant who made stew like juice is getting another chance and a wild card contestant who simply did not have colors is eliminated. there is something behind scenes going on.. the judges are not transparent...please explain chef anjali,pradeep and amrit..
hi. am here to give as much explanations as i can... dhaneeshs didh was very good. no doubt about that. but the other 3 did do better. and we were to select only 3 out of the 7 who came.

In his explanation he says at home he made it colorful but here he just tried to be innovative but did not work. I also guess innovation is not a criteria and hence he got eliminated.
