The song itself is beautiful, but this rendition almost makes you cry. Very well done!
"almost"? couldn't count the times i've cried to suspirium :)
Oh Jess that was wonderful, I felt transported to another world, one of peace and tranquility. Thank you
Incredible ! Last night while under the ⭐️, I heard this and was blown away by the gentle passion... For me it is the song of the sirens.❤️
Just pre-ordered the CD. Love everything I've ever heard Jess play - a really inspirational young woman.
1:46, oh it’s there, it speaks of mercy to the mad world more than what language is capable of❗️or perhaps lamentation. Love from Japan.
That was gorgeous. A nice surprise from Ytube recommended algorithm.
goes right through your soul.
Great artistry across the board: Jess Gillam AND the performers with her, the genius in selecting this piece, certainly the music itself, the videography and so much more, everything and everyone brought together to take us all on a perfect magic carpet ride.
Ok so I am writing and I have this song on repeat because, I have never and I repeat: I have never, heard something that was the specific right emotion I needed. I don't comment a lot but I just wanted to say that this is just incredible, the sound, the way you play the melody. Dang
Thank you for speaking for me🥰
I first heard this music on the introduction to the TV show. Annika. This is a different version and it's so beautiful
She is performing at longy school of music in Cambridge, Massachusetts on March 12th. I can't wait to see her!
Beautiful!
this is how you can kit up a brilliant original
love the phrasings and the nuanced shifts from soft to incisive tones
✨Just Magic 🙇✨
Hermoso!!! No me canso de verla Jess, su música es magnífica, ojalá algún día pudiese venir a México 🇲🇽 saludos.

Ok I’m definitely gonna transpose this (for personal use ofc) for my alto sax. This is just too good!!!
Oh Jess, I love this piece so much, since I heard you playing it live in Peckham.
I have been following your musical growth and your well worth success. I will continue doing so until possible.
Breathtaking...
I am becoming your fan Jess... Keep up the good work....

Thank you
That was wonderful darlings 😍
amazing, thankyou
Great - very tranquil - loved it
You are amazing!!!
This is a waltz thinking about our bodies
What they mean for our salvation
The little clothes that we stand up in
Just the ground on which we stand
Is the darkness ours to take?
Bathed in lightness, bathed in heat
All is well, as long as we keep spinning
Here and now, death still behind a wall
When the old songs and laughter we do
Are forgiven always and never been true
When I arrive, will you come and find me?
Or in a crowd, be one of them?
Wore the wrong sign back beside her
No tomorrow's at peace
I like to hear the last line as “Know tomorrow’s at peace” as it is uplifting, and I feel like that’s what this song is meant to be; beautifully uplifting.
Beautiful ..very Folk/Celtic! So tranquil I love it! Going to learn to play on the alto sax😊

Thanks Jess, I was quite happily playing alto, until I heard you playing soprano sax. Would you recommend getting to a certain grade on alto before adding a soprano and, if so, which grade would you recommend that I pass first? Geoff Parker
I started on alto sax at the end of Jan 21 (was a clarinet player way back when) and in March 21 I also bought a soprano, inspired by Jess' playing. I play popular music on alto and classical on soprano. Soprano is more challenging but one feeds in to the other, improving my tone on soprano has hreatly improved my tone on alto. Having to have cleaner fingering on soprano means I have cleaner fingering on alto. I alternate days which sax I play. So I'd say go for soprano now.
@@kareng2281 Thanks for that, Karen. I actually bought a Yanagisawa WO1 soprano, just before we were put into lockdown at the end of October. I am enjoying the challenge but an not finding the transition as easy as I had hoped. I am alternating my weekly lessons between alto and soprano but the tone that I am producing on the soprano leaves a to to be desired. Still, Rome wasn’t built in a day and I’m sure the Jess spent a lot of time achieving the tone that she delights us all with! Take care. Geoff
@@geoffparker6332 know what you mean re tone: my instrument isn't as good as yours; a conn selmer liberty soprano, MP was rubbish so bought a Selmer Paris 80 C*, what a difference, use 2.5 Rico reeds at the moment. Have had to tighten up my embouchure quite a bit for soprano and have Jess' tone in my head when I play
@@kareng2281 Yes, I know what you mean about tightening one's embouchure. Jamie Anderson (get your sax together on You Tube) describes it as a "trout pout". I used to use Rico reeds but have found Vandooren far better. Good luck.
What's name the instrument your playing with please ?

honestly, it's better without the lyrics.
