I'm from Houston and have never heard of this. Very scary but yet I wanna hear more about this
You're not alone. I've been in North Harris county 50+ years . I was working in and around Conroe in the eighties. I literally bulldozed woods down for the development of the woodlands. Never heard of this.
Have you heard of Colony Ridge👀?
I have lived and worked in Conroe, briefly, and I never heard about it. If I had heard about it I woulda checked it out 🤠.
We can meet there and I can tell you more about the lake in person if you’d like
Cynthia! Don't fall for Dirkadew, he's trying to lure you into a trap.😳
I fished it plenty of times. The only bad encounter was mosquitoes. But i never knew there was a dark history there.
Eww!! I hope you didn't eat the fish !!😂 . I would have never thought fish was in that lake and NEVER WOULD HAVE IMAGINED PEOPLE FISHING THERE
Sexy 😊
@@terrikajohnson4887 you eat fish out of the lakes and oceans. Plenty of bodies there as well.. no different. 😁
I immediately thought about Into The Abyss. I highly suggest to watch the documentary about 3 people dying just for a vehicle. It takes a demon to viciously take a life.
Yall would be surprise on how many spirits and unexplained unknown activites and entities roam that area
Do tell
IKR?!?
I see 'um ever time I'm over thayur practicin muh witchcraft 😂
Sounds like a place that I need to go do a Paranormal investigation!
For anyone who wants more information about Crater Lake, in Conroe TX There is a CZcams Channel, DeadlyKnot, which did a fantastic video about the history of Crater Lake called The Untold Stories of Crater Lake - Conroe, TX **this video was taken on a dark dreary rainy day and is hard to see = DeadlyKnot used a drone on a clear day.
Really interesting story!
Thanks for bringing more attention to it 😀
Legend has it people STILL go there.
😮I wonder if this is the same lake that David paulides has talked about in the missing 411 cases. All of the cases are terrible. 😢
It's not. That one is in Washington state I believe
Oregon
People love to scare themselves.
sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo true !! Imaginations are something.
this was an awesome video. Abigail Dye is cool af for this investigation.
Why, that lake is known way out in Nevada as a place where people hear voices coming from the water calling them in to drown, this stuff is new to me, amazing, thank you for posting, regards,
A lot of dark history under those lakes
Every time im around conroe i get an eerie vibe
My father was murdered at a sales meeting in Conroe at a time share company for a new resort there in 1977. It happened in front of 40 witnesses at the meeting. The guy went into another salesman's office and took out a .22 handgun that was in his desk. The guy pled guilty to involuntary manslaughter and never spent a day in jail. I was 19, married and had just had my second Son. My family was from Pittsburgh PA, and the murderer was a local in Conroe, and He had powerful connections.
What was his name
The murderer
@@pumito9178 James Purdue
So sorry this happened to you, living near Conroe for almost 75 years, I believe your every word. Humble was not much better.
Oh my God bless you and your family.
If its bottomless, how could multiple cars and bodies be recovered? Ridiculous.
Bottomless !? If something is holding water it has to have a bottom to hold the water 😅
Maybe a trail cam can help law enforcement in the future?
I live on the lake Conroe and never have heard of Crater lake. Should be a neat place to visit next free day I have for a dive and vlog. I remember when I was little however my neighbor did snag a body while fishing in Conroe and I'm guessing it was at crater lake. That said all bodies of water hide secrets so that little lake is nothing unique. Lastly a message for Fox26, dont be hating and fear mongering on witchcraft, lots of peeps are Wiccan or Pagan in Conroe and the greater Houston area. I myself practice Shugendo and meditate at the lake to conect with nature and my sister is Wiccan and used to do the same there as well.
Wtf not a nice place kids got raped and murder and folks are dieing there
It's Witchcraft I don't care how you color it.Theres only one Creator
Well said @@vivianlunsford4052
Witchcraft isn't real.
I actually knew Jason burket and Michael perry. And the girl very well. And grew up near crater lake all my life, it’s always been a dump for bodies and drugs. As far back as I remember my pawpaw would tell us to not go there or you may not come home.
Like something out of the Blair Witch Project. I ain't going anywhere near that place🙅🙅🙅
Lived down the street from there in 90s high school .crazy stuff goes on at night . First time I ever seen what looked to be a black panther
I worked for an LE agency on the west side of Lake Conroe and in my patrols/travels, never encountered this lake.
I've lived on the Lake my entire life and never heard of that spot. Kinda neat tbh.
This is on the other side of Conroe, by Grangerland and Cut 'n' Shoot
@@tobingallawa3322 East side? Thank you. It bothered me that I didn't know of this site.
@@The_Dudester I thought this was going to be about alligators on the North end of Lake Conroe
@@tobingallawa3322 So, back in the early 90's, when I was a cop in South Houston, my partner and I chased a suspect into a marshy area. I suddenly heard a loud "swishing" sound in the grass and asked "What is that?" Gary casually replied "An alligator." I said, "F$*k that, it's not worth dying for" and we gave up the pursuit.
I've done my take on this place... its pretty creepy going by yourself.
Aye! I'm here cuz of you!!! 🤙
@@SilverPhoenix-PlazmaMoon :)
Hey i went swimming there once, it was fn lit! It was late spring and honestly it felt like one big ass party, seemed like everyone was having a good time
Just to think there was 2 bodies in that lake at one point and you swam in that same lake 😧😧
@@pumito9178 fr tho it is a beautiful lake in the spring/summertime tho, fr tho i swear it was more way more lit and fun than port aransas beach in the summertime, wilder partying
Homeboy I think you were at lake Conroe not the same
I see what you're doin there Fox 26
Jeez thats crazy how that lake was created.
DeadlyKnot brought me here.
I've been there tons of times. I used to go back in that area to do donuts in my car when I was a teen!
Jelly or glazed?
Awe...Your just trying to put the Joe Dirt in the hole@@WiIdbiII
@@user-mh4qd4xm2b if it fits.
Somebody mistook your donuts for satanic witchcraft circles.
I pray that they are beside God in heaven 🙏
So... its only 35 feet deep, but its pitch black at 7ft down? o.O
NO " pond" is 600 feet deep.
Did the blanket catch the hook or did the hook catch the blanket? Get the facts right.
That's East Montgomery county. East county baby!!!! Grangerland!!!
They need to make a move about it
Do you mean a movie??
You know damn well there's a body there.
We call that a pond here in Oregon. THE Crater Lake here is a real lake.
Yes yours up in Oregon is a Lake with a real dark History too more than this pond
Bottomless? C'mon now......we know the earth is flat...but bottomless lake?!
I swam there as a child.
that is not lake conroe , lake conroe is located off of 105 west 10 miles west of conroe inside of montgomery county 45 miles north of houston . either this is all lies or the lake there talking about is a different lake . 2 neighborhoods near lake conroe are walden and april sound .
It’s not near Lake Conroe. But it is called Crater lake
I live 7 minutes away from this place…
I dont
They tried to pump it dry in the 90s it really is that deep.we snuck out there.to check it out security ran us off
Have you drove to see it yet?
One woman facing camera had a smile..o they just love creepy stuff.. wow
"People are practicin witchcraft out thayur" i.e. some mischievous teenagers nade a fire, piled up some pebbles and drew a star in the mud...
🤘HALE SEITAN🤘🎉🥳🎉
Slow news day in Houston?
Not THE CRATER LAKE.........
It’s a secluded area that’s had this pond for almost 90 years from the old oil field days .Being so secluded for so long in a low income area of the county of course it’s gonna be a dumping ground for everything from trash to bodies . Overblown and nothing new .
WitchCraft is not scary, psychopaths are 🌒🌕🌘🐈⬛🐦⬛🐦⬛
Jeez
Anytime there is wooded areas near a high population your gonna get some body's dumped.
Creature from the black lagoon!! 😂
Why are we pretending they can’t use sonar to map out that little pond & see everything in it in 2024 ??
😂😂😂😂
The huntated lake.
Its a small body of water.
600 ft that little thing? yikes!
No it's 35ft deep is what the diver just said they found the bottom. Its a old oil well that blew up back in the 30s they said it burned for weeks
I'm sure now, there's cameras watching the lake and road going to it.
Can't go anywhere anymore without a camera watching you these days.
I remember being able to walk into the woods at night and do witchcraft without being recorded. It’s a damn shame what this world has become.
@@LuGu1 I still do. If someone wants to see that, have at it.
I didn't see any cameras while i was there and i filmed my own video on it.
@DeadlyKnot try filming in Infra red. You will spot so many hidden cameras they light up like flashlights to the camera
@fraterjr Same tbh lol
An area that is known as a body dumping area warrants taxpayer dollars to be spent for a surveillance camera for the road
It's in Cut n' Shoot... ain't no cameras going up way out there.
it likely is the root of a giant tree AND connects tot he Gulf of Mexico so it literally could be bottomless.
M
They should empty out all these lakes then fill it back up so many bodies and undiscovered crimes would be discovered
They would have to do this every few years as new ones could always be put in. Do you know how many ponds and lakes there are in the world? How much that would cost? It’s just not realistic or feasible sorry.
So is this a man made karst window i think 🤔 but basically a sink hole.
I am sure the homeless are thrown out back ther😢
Solved decades ago murders. Solve them all but the black lady an hers wasn't that old as the rest.. no race card here just weird as heck... 🔥🇺🇸
Much ado about nothing
I bet it has some big bass in there
Why not drain it and cover it
They tried
Yeah no. By this logic they’d have to do this to every pond and lake in the world…
@MegaBlazed I guess that's why they say it's bottomless... You can only pump for so long without any difference.
"Euw! Witchcraft is so scaaairy!". 🍷🥱
