Honestly, most in uniform don’t think of why they do what they do. Freedom, democracy, ‘The American Way’ are concepts just as abstract and vague for us as they are for everyone else. It’s only much later that we wonder if it was worth it, and the answer is almost always yes. The Babylonian, around 2500 years ago, exiled the majority, but about 100 years later, the Persians, who then controlled the region (after the Babylonians) allowed the majority to return. The point: There was always a Jewish presence in the land (either as a majority or minority) for 3300 years. So, why do you support all indigenous people EXCEPT the indigenous people of Israel? Furthermore, the name "Palaestinaa" came from the Romans in the year 136 CE. Not Arabs. So, the truth is, the land of Israel is occupied by Jordanians, Egyptians and Syrians who started calling themselves "Palestinians" in the 1960's.

They start by "blocking your commute home." When you tell them that isn't okay, they deface a veteran's memorial. Now you tell them, "It's one thing to block my commute home, but this is too much."
So next they'll probably carry out attacks in public spaces and you'll say, "It's one thing to deface veterans cemeteries and statues, but attacking people is too much." etc.
