I could swear it contained the intro but I was surprised when I got the album a few years back that it didn't. I remember that I first got this song during the LimeWire days, and I was like 10 or 12 al the time and that one for sure contained the intro, then I downloaded the full albums and I remember always hearing the intro, but idk I might have just replaced the album version with this if it didn't have the intro bc it just slaps
Copyright is a bit different in Germany than in the states. Since Meiwes wrote the internet post in question, it’s his intellectual property in Germany. The band probably didn’t want to pursue an intellectual property battle on the album. The Single isn’t available for stream on AppleMusic or Spotify in the states for that reason. They’re likely avoiding having to pay royalties to Meiwes. The single was only available for a few months at print. In Germany the song caused massive outrage. The music censorship board referred to it as "Das Kannibalenlied" literally “the Cannibal song” and it sparked debates in the Bundestag about what’s “acceptable song content” and was designated a threat to the youth of Germany. Pretty interesting history. Lol. I also love “Der Metzgermeister”. Sounds way more intimidating than “The Master Butcher”. “Looking for a well built 18-30 year old man looking to be slaughtered, The Master Butcher” ironically Brandes was in his early 40’s and not exactly well built…
