Community cohesion is very weak in many parts of the UK now, as traditional communities have been under attack for years via the PC brigade and imported poverty expects to be fed and watered with payments to keep them happy. Any breakdown in the payments and food supply will see those weak bonds easily broken and while areas will become uncontrollable via government/police, likewise doubt we would have the troops to even begin to sort these problems out. Fully expect to see hunger, disease and violence if there's a SHTF situation in the UK, as politicians have stacked the problems into the system and people are not trained or prepared to survive.

I never had a problem because I had planned ahead and had stocks at home to last me, long before things got out of hand. That's what prepping is all about.

In the US we have to worry about someone shooting a key item in a transfer station and knocking out our power for days!

Financial collapse is a good one. I live in Nottingham currently and London before that so general mass riots was high on my list. General rule of thumb for all of these is the survival triangle or square depending on where you live. Shelter, Water (and medication if you have any), Food. Add a means of defence depending on how much your government micro manages your life.

@@David1964able I haven't watched their videos but I do see the same channels, mainly in the US, pumping out the drama day after day and if anything it does more harm than good imo.
It really just reinforces the perception of the general public of what preppers must be like.
If even 10% of what these guys had predicted had come true we would already be extinct.

My strategy is to bug out remotely next to a continual subterranean fresh water source with three months' storable food while the sheeple do the zombie apocalypse in the failed cities.

I still have my Wuhan stock. Tins aren't going to go off, but, the dehydrated stuff like pasta and rice, how long does it keep past the date? Is it like the tinned stuff? Thanks for sharing.
As long as it is sealed and air tight, should last 30+ years. It's dehydrated, so no moisture to cause it to go off. With Rice and flour it's a good idea to put it in the freezer for 48 hrs to kill off any bugs, before sealing it and putting in an oxygen absorber.
What is the barrel you were putting the stuff in and that green life preserver. Can you video you're canoeing trip I was wondering how hard it would be to buyout in a canoe or kayak👍
