+Alicia McCarty how can people be cruel in general? People all have the capacity to hurt. It's a skill, a tool, and depends on our judgement where it is applied. now yeah, some asshat shot up this poor dog, we don't know under what circumstances this was done, all we know was that the surrounding housing was in ruins and abandoned. It was terrible, but anyone has the capacity to do that. But on the flipside anyone can also make the effort to help. Tyler put his money where his mouth was he didn't just say, "oh, poor dog" , and put his ability, his money an extension thereof, to help this dog. For that I am grateful. He went above and beyond the average good Samaritan's duty.

Absolutely no one should judge you for spending money for such a good cause. I'm sorry you had to because it cost your personal happiness, but you did a beautiful thing. It shows how truly wonderful you are as a person, to be so selfless. I just wish that your story had a happy ending. Bruce sounded extremely lovely and you definitely would have treated him much better than his former owners. He was lucky to have you in his life, even if for only a day.

My deepest condolences, Once I had come across a stray puppy who i found on the staircase of my building complex and it was making an odd noise. I never had any experience with dogs so i had no clue what the sounds meant. After a while i worked up the courage to actually go and give it some milk in a bowl and when i got there it had stopped making those sounds that it was making earlier. It was then that i realized that the puppy was actually about to die. I couldn't do anything because i had no idea where the nearest vet was so i stayed with the puppy until it passed away and i gave it a burial by myself. I couldn't tell my parents because they despise dogs. But that day had a huge affect on me and i can understand how you felt. Every creature deserves unconditional love. Once again please accept my deepest condolences.

First of all i want to commend you for taking such good care of the rabbit, i am sure you are doing the best you possibly can.I would ask you to take it to a vet, but i don't know if you have access to one. But none the less i want you to realize that what you did was a beautiful act of kindness and don't ever think that it was meaningless or too small. As far as the rabbit's death is concerned, i don't really know what to say other than that when it will be his time, it will be his time. He will die in this body but his energy will live on in the things around him. You should show him love and kindness to the very last day and that way both of you will fell better by the end of this. +tiria dawsill If you don't have any money , at least , if you can, drop it off at a vet. Because maybe it just has a little infection that could be dealt with antibiotics, he's not dying but he will if he doesn't get rid of that infection... Good luck.

jessycoolnessable I might be wrong but I'd rather the animal get help or be put down than to continue to suffer. Do shelters have vets ? because if they do, you are right it would be better to bring it to a shelter... Thanks for clearing that up Jessy...
tiria dawsill, Whatever happened to the black rabbit? Judging by your description of the symptoms, it sounds like the rabbit had mixi and would not have survived. Though I hope I am wrong.

I think that you won't regret helping the dog. It was a really kind and generous thing you did for him. I had a similiarish experience. I love cats and this one time a family of kittens ended up on my grandparents porch. The kittens were wild and one of them was limping for some reason. Me and my mom wanted to help the kitten who was limping because we thought it might have a broken leg or a broken ankle. My dad set up a trap and we were able to get 2 of the kittens. One of the kittens was this weird round(it had worms so it was super round and looked fat) black kitten and the other was the tiny little tabby that was limping. We named the tiny Tabby Sophie and the black kitten Pudgy. After we got the kittens we took them immediately to the vet who did an examination on Sophie and said he(it turned out Sophie was a boy) had no broken bones but something was very wrong with him. We payed extra money for Sophie to have an x-ray and it turned out Sophie had an intestine problem and couldn't get rid of his food he ate. It was more complicated but Sophie was going to have to have a million surgeries and be on extreme kitty life support just for a small chance to live. We ended up having to put Sophie down because he was in extreme pain and we were pretty sure he would die just in the first surgery. Even though I barely knew Sophie it was terrible to have to do that. We ended up keeping Pudgy though and he became best friends with the kitten we already had at home.

as a result of being an animal lover, I have 4 rabbits, 2 cats, 1 dog and a bearded dragon! out of those 8, half were rescues. I had something similar happen to me with a dog..he was hiy by a car and pretty badly injured.. people kept driving by him and I live in a very small town. I could NOT just abandon that poor baby. I took him to the vet, had surgery and then another surgery, and finally had to put him down . it was the hardest thing I had to do but it wasn't about me. 😢 I hope you are feeling a little bit better. I'm thinking of you darlin! 💖

I'm so sorry you had to go through that, but I would have done the same in that situation. RIP lil puppy. I went through that with a dear cat of mine a few months ago, hardest fucking thing I've ever done. I even held him when they gave him that last injection, I wanted him to be as comfortable as possible. He was so sick, poor baby. They're not hurting anymore, and we can try to find peace in knowing we had their health and well-being in mind.
Big dogs have a special place in my heart too. Well, all dogs.. you're a good person.

Watching this hurt my heart. Bruce looks vaguely like my dog Zeplin; they both have black bodies with white fur patches on their chests and toes. My stomach is in knots and my heart is broken for Bruce. What kind of person shoots a dog, THEIR DOG, point blank in the chest with a shotgun? The person who caused this needs to be punished.

i'm not one to start crying at a video but i was just in the bathroom watching this video taking my makeup off and i got some extra taken off because i started crying. i love dogs and animals in general so much i wish it wasn't so expensive to save him he was so adorable i'm so sad now

My cat got run over a couple weeks ago and well he didn't make it but it was two young lads who accidentally hit him but they were running around trying to find us knocking on doors and of course we took him to the vets and we had a fee off £79, and tho it is little compared to your fee but they refused to let us pay for it as they were the ones who hit him. R.I.P Bruce, and R.I.P Ted, my little kitten and your lovely dog.

Poor baby. I really just don't know what goes through people's minds when they do something like shoot a poor animal. you really should have contacted police after you found out about the gunshot wound because shooting a dog is animal cruelty, and hardly anyone thinks you were stupid trust me you were the exact opposite and gave poor Bruse (no clue how to spell it sorry) a happy, comfterble, peaceful ending.
It's so sad that people would do this! I was crying by the end of the video. This is exactly what happens to animals that we eat for food. They either get a bolt gun in the head or have their throat's slit, it's honestly horrific. It is by definition, animal cruelty.
