Great indepth review 👌🏼
Nice review my dude👍i dig volvos now
They warn you about the stiff braking--does take some getting used to--reason for that is explained as a "regenerative function" for the 'ISG' system.
I got the Fjord blue.
Thanks for the good review. Can you use regular octane in the XC40 B5? If so, what impact does it have on performance and mileage. I did a very short test drive today, and it seemed like heavy braking was required compared to my 2013 S60.
Hi, I own a 2018 XC60 which I do like. Do you think I would be happy with the XC40?
Thanks! Great video btw.
Can the regenerative braking be adjusted to firm up the pedal pressure?
Good review. Are these cars reliable??
Idk if it’s just me but my ideal pedal is soft and squishy in the top half or 70 percent and then bites hard in the last of it because I like longer softer stops and it makes it easy. However, They need to be confidence inspiring in that last 30%. It needs comfort/usability
Now my SUV to buy.
Basically the same car as the 2021 I bought
Volvo fix the braking, everyone is complaining about it.
Feeyord. Feeyord, feeyord, feeyord. ❤
Nice review. You are talking in uzi shooting pace dude. Couldn’t keep up with you sometime. Brake feeling aside, this would be the car for me if it only had the steering gear shift paddles that the 2018 models had. Really a disappointment and deal breaker for me.
You talk to fast for some seniors slow down thanks jf
😢
Brake feel was the worst part of test drive
@@goldpony I find drive modes missing, except offroad inside setting also not ideal as well as auto engine stop that can't be turned off.
and the menu button on left side of steering wheel that does nothing.....
@@kgbman it’s cause the NEW 2023 models are all mild-hybrid. Which adds an electric starter/generator that adds 13 hp when you put your foot on the gas. Start/stop can’t be turned off, but unlike others, this one just turns on instead of hearing the engine starter start the engine.
@@rocketshiftgaming5693 you can still hear start of it. yes its more smooth that before. Engine starts are the most stressful thing engine experiences - I"m very concerned on long term reliability of this setup with its very aggressive/frequent stops/starts when in stop and go traffic.
@@kgbman I completely agree. Volvo should have kept the option to turn the feature off
Car is lameeee idk why volvo still around
Thank you for a thorough review. Love the looks and the sunroof!
