Opening with a wide shot of a riverside city, a beam of blue light bolts through the sky towards one of the tallest skyscrapers, causing Buzz Lightyear to appear in giant form, projected onto its side. A boy and his father inside the nearest tower point and wave to Buzz as he salutes and winks. Meanwhile, in the streets of Paris near the Eiffel Tower, Mickey Mouse magically appears on the side of an old Parisian building, waving to a family strolling past a café in the street below. As the kids run towards Mickey, he waves them along and jumps off into the distance. In London, a green bolt of lightning sees Peter Pan materialise on the side of Big Ben at the Houses of Parliament, winking to a child in a passing car.
We then cut to a magical, twilight Main Street, U.S.A. at Disneyland Paris, where the children and families gather, running down the street towards the shining Second Star to the Right at the top of Sleeping Beauty Castle, as a giant "20" appears in the sky above. The castle suddenly comes to life as part of the new "Disney Dreams!" nighttime spectacular show, with colourful projections and Peter Pan fighting Captain Hook around its main tower. Crush and the sea turtles from Finding Nemo fill the sky, with Marlin and Dory flying over the heads of guests using the pyrotechnic, fountain and projection effects.
The grand finale of the advert sees Buzz Lightyear, Lightning McQueen, the Genie, Dumbo and Peter Pan flying out from the chateau. Mickey Mouse wears his special new sorcerer costume for "Disney Magic on Parade!" as the characters walk down the parade route, including Belle from Beauty and the Beast, Simba from The Lion King, Sulley, Mike Wazowski, Goofy, Donald, and Minnie Mouse. Fireworks explode overhead as the trailer cuts to an endboard featuring Le Château de la Belle au Bois Dormant peeking above the clouds.
The parade in the trailer is actually Mickey's Soundsational Parade from Disneyland in California, as is the Main Street pictured in the commercial ad.
