- Gold and silver investors should consider adding stocks to their investment portfolio. If you have spent much time on youtube watching gold and silver youtube channels most are scared to talk about owning stocks. Many gold and silver investors were scared off from buying stocks in 2008 where the stock market lost roughly half of its value in a short period of time. These turbulent times struck fear in the minds of many and lots of investors that panicked and withdrew funds or were at retirement age and had to withdraw funds to live lost a lot of money. Here on the Tactical Timmy youtube channel we never deny that and want to structure our portfolios to not only survive market down turns but also benefit from them. The easiest way to benefit from them is to have a position in gold and silver because precious metals tend to be inversely correlated with the stock market. As people flee the stock market and prices are crashing people tend to rush into the safe haven asset of gold and silver. Our economy is resilient and we need to have a position in stocks to take advantage of any coming recovery. In this video we discuss the economic, biblical, and personal reasons to own stocks and not just gold and silver.
Good advise. Don't forget there are a lot of gold and silver stocks to consider as well besides general stock markets.
Very true, when I was in college and it was a bear market I bought almost exclusively mining stocks and out performed the entire class! There certainly is value in mining stocks if you know where to look!

Thank you! Yes, any of the higher premium silver/series I collect go in capsules but bullion like silver eagles or maples don’t. All my gold gets capsules too, you work so hard to save for gold and it deserves to be protected! I like the idea for capsule centered video again!

I went risk off in 2021. Once we get a market correction “30% to 40% correction I’ll get back in.

Fair enough, Far too many people don’t even consider stocks as an investment option in the gold and silver stacking community! Sounds like you have a well diversified plan in place!
I am not buying stocks right now. I am SHORTING stocks though.

I can see a lot of arguments for that position! A lot of gold and silver investors never even consider stocks as an investment option. I stopped trying to time the market myself and go with the old motto “time in the market beats trying to time the market”.
If your short positions go well seems like it would be a buying opportunity for me!
If you don't have the stock certificates in your possession then you don't own the stocks and they can be confiscated
Very true, If I knew business owners or owned a business that would be ideal, but the hassle of doing that for small amount of single stock just hasn’t been worth it to me as a smaller investor. Luckily that is just part of the risk vs return trade off you will have. Why having some physical is important as a hedge against other assets!
