    As I know bro , after pretreatment you have to use heat press , not direct printing , sm I correct bro ? 🤔

    • @Turboheatweldingtools
      @Turboheatweldingtools Před rokem +1

      Hey! That's mostly correct. If you only have a heat press you can heat press it to dry the pretreat. There are other ways to dry it too, such as hot air gun, conveyor dryers (like in screen printing) and in some cases letting it air dry.

    Great vid. How do you prevent burnt stains or hard stiffness of the white shirt after pretreating?

    • @KeyPrintCo
      @KeyPrintCo  Před 3 lety +1

      Hey Michael, it's a combination of using the correct amount of pretreat and adjusting your heat press settings. Also, this is important, not all pretreat is meant for white shirts. You have to use one that doesn't have the staining characteristic. We use Firebird Vivid and it works great.

    How many mins or seconds I have to heat press the shirt after print dtg???

    • @KeyPrintCo
      @KeyPrintCo  Před 3 lety +1

      Hey Eduardo that depends on the type of shirt you are using, the heat and pressure of the press. But I would start with 330 Degrees for 30-45 seconds and start adjusting from there.

    so does a DTG shop have the shirts or would I have to get the shirts from a manufacturer and bring them to a DTG shop?

    • @KeyPrintCo
      @KeyPrintCo  Před rokem

      Good question. Many print shops supply them because they have a whole sale account and usually better pricing. Some print shops don't. So it's best to ask the print shop you're thinking of going with.

      Hello Jasmine!
      Yes, it is totally possible! We have not tried it for ourselves, however, if you had a small platen, such as the Isolator Kit, we believe this could happen in a snap! Now we HAVE to go try it out! We will let you know our results!
      Thanks for stopping by!
