اللَّهُمَّ أَعِنِّيْ عَلَى ذِكْرِكَ وَشُكْرِكَ وَحُسْنِ عِبَادَتِكَ Allahumma a inni Ala Zikrik Wa Shukrika Wa Husni Ibadatika O Allah, help me remember You, to be grateful to You, and to worship You,
Dua to Protect Us from Shirk الَّلهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ أَنْ أُشْرِكَ بِكَ وأَنا َعلَمُ وأَستَغفِرُكَ لما لا أَعلَمُ Allahumma inni a`udhu bika an ushrika bika wa ana a`lamu wa astaghfiruka lima la a`lamu ‘ O Allah I seek refuge in You from knowingly associating partners with You, and I seek Your forgiveness for that which I do not know.’
Ya Muqallib al-quloob thabbit qalbi 'ala deenik يَا مُقَلِّبَ الْقُلُوبِ ثَبِّتْ قَلْبِى عَلَى دِينِكَ “O Controller of hearts, make my heart firm in Your religion.”
Sayyidul Istighfar اَللَّهُمَّ أَنْتَ رَبِّىْ لآ إِلهَ إلاَّ أَنْتَ Allahumma anta Rabbi la ilaha illa anta, خَلَقْتَنِىْ وَأَنَا عَبْدُكَ Khalaqtani wa ana Abduka وَأَنَا عَلى عَهْدِكَ wa ana ala ahdika وَوَعْدِكَ مَا اسْتَطَعْتُ wa wadika mastatatu أَعُوْذُبِكَ مِنْ شَرِّمَا صَنَعْتُ Audhu bika min Sharri ma sanatu أبُوْءُ لَكَ بِنِعْمَتِكَ عَلَىَّ abu’u Laka binimatika `alaiya وَأَبُوءُ لَكَ بِذَنْبِي wa abu’u laka bizanbi فَاغْفِرْ لِي faghfir lee فَإِنَّهُ لَا يَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوبَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ fa innahu laa yaghfirudz dzubuuba illa anta The Prophet (pbuh) added. “If somebody recites it during the day with firm faith in it, and dies on the same day before the evening, he will be from the people of Paradise; and if somebody recites it at night with firm faith in it, and dies before the morning, he will be from the people of Paradise.”
Praise Allah With the Most Virtuous Dhikr Abu Umaamah Al-Baheli رضي الله عنه says that the Messenger ﷺ passed by him while he was moving his lips, so he asked: “What are you saying O Abu Umaamah?” He replied: “I am remembering my Lord.” He ﷺ said: “Shall I not inform you of the most virtuous dhikr for the night and day? It is that you say: اَلْحَمْدُ لِلّٰهِ عَدَدَ مَا خَلَقَ al-ḥamdu lillāhi ʿadada mā khalaq, All praise is for Allah as much as what He has created. وَالْحَمْدُ لِلّٰهِ مِلْءَ مَا خَلَقَ wal-ḥamdu lillāhi mil’a mā khalaq, All praise is for Allah as much as what can fill His creation. وَالْحَمْدُ لِلّٰهِ عَدَدَ مَا فِي الْأَرْضِ وَالسَّمَاءِ wal-ḥamdu lillāhi ʿadada mā fil-arḍi wa-s-samā’, All praise is for Allah as much as what is in the earth and the sky. وَالْحَمْدُ لِلّٰهِ مِلْءَ مَا فِي الْأَرْضِ وَالسَّمَاءِ wal-ḥamdu lillāhi mil’a mā fil-arḍi wa-s-samā’, All praise is for Allah as much as what can fill up the earth and the sky. وَالْحَمْدُ لِلّٰهِ عَدَدَ مَا أَحْصَىٰ كِتَابُهُ wal-ḥamdu lillāhi ʿadada mā aḥṣā kitābuh, All praise is for Allah as much as what His Book has recorded. وَالْحَمْدُ لِلّٰهِ مِلْءَ مَا أَحْصَىٰ كِتَابُهُ wal-ḥamdu lillāhi mil’a mā aḥṣā kitābuh, All praise is for Allah as much as what fills His Book. وَالْحَمْدُ لِلّٰهِ عَدَدَ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ wal-ḥamdu lillāhi ʿadada kulli shay’, All praise is for Allah as much as everything. وَالْحَمْدُ لِلّٰهِ مِلْءَ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ wal-ḥamdu lillāhi mil’a kulli shay’.
