I think what this tour did for both Maddie & Tae and Runaway June was give them a huge learn curve. Maddie & Tae say they were opening act for other artists, difference is in front of Carrie, they played in front of packed crowds. Big difference, when you played in front of 1,000 people and packed arena of 15,000 people.
Natalie Mulholland of Runaway June got her eyes opened real wide. When she was part if this tour. She found what a headliner goes through to put on concert tour like this one. And to perform in front of sold out arenas. I know I saw it at Milwaukee stop of the tour. Opening acts usually are just house music waiting for headliner to perform. Well, Runaway June ended up playing for a packed arena on this tour. They had to give a full performance. People filled the arena for the whole show.
