- Toxicroak has a long history in NU, pretty much always being fantastic in the tier. Despite a bit of an absence this generation, it's back with a vengeance, and today our ribbiting friend is here to destroy the ladder :] Enjoy!

Aye Rabia uploaded using my team! I still think the team is solid, but honestly inteleon could be a different water type and it'd probably still work. I do agree specs is typically a better intel set but the idea of the team was literally "I'm tired of removing these hazards I'm just gonna ignore them... timbs GOOOO!"

The issue with Honchkrow in Gen 9 is that it did get some decent movepool buffs. It can now use Acrobatics, which is a nice alternative to Brave Bird if you're willing to go itemless. It gets U-turn finally, which is great on Choice sets. It also finally has Heavy-Duty Boots, which is huge for a Flying-type like itself. It can even go full Special now that it has Hurricane or Air Slash to choose from. The problem is that losing Superpower was such a massive loss for it, especially with your strongest Dark-type STABs being Night Slash, Sucker Punch, or Lash Out (lol), which aren't doing a lot to Steel-types. It's also still only Base 71 Speed, which is fairly slow. Yeah, it has that nice Base 100 HP, but that doesn't mean much when its Defenses are Base 52 each. Honchkrow is just another case of what I've dubbed "Seviper Syndrome", a slow, frail mixed attacker.
I miscounted yesterday. TODAY is day 40 of asking for a mono fire starter team every day. I don't think croak would appreciate going against a team like that, especially if it had sun.
