My favorite reactions are ones where they look back on what they’ve learned from the analysis and trying to form a guess based off that information. As well as talking about the episode itself afterwards. I know it doesn’t sound like much, but you don’t know how many DB reactors I have seen not do this. So props! I’m interested to see how you feel about the later episodes!
You should definitely NOT watch theduckgoesmoo's Death Battle reaction videos since he talks too much and doesn't know (or refuses) to use the pause button when he starts rambling. lol
Fun fact, I think the original actor for Jason actually reacted to this fight, asking "Why am I fighting my childhood hero?" since he loved TMNT. The only major issue I had with this episode was the beginning of the fight. The fact that Jason didn't notice that leonardo was a giant turtle till he looked back and that Leonardo wasn't even disguised feels like bad writing. A simple fix I'd suggest would've been to have Leonardo don the trenchcoat and hat disguise, Jason bumps into him, the hat flies off, Jason gets a look at his face, and Leonardo throws off the trenchcoat right before pulling out his swords and saying "Time to take out the trash." Other than that, I thought this was a solid episode that made pretty good use of their arsenal.
@@altxogershavelayers5166 the fight was wrong tho since the calcs they made put Voltron at Continental while the Megazord casually Manhandles Monsters capable of surviving a planetary explosion
Great reaction man This was one of my favorite Eps of S7 overall Also Jason’s Death Battle Actor Kaggy came back from Megazord vs Voltron to play him again Also the next time will be a hand drawn Animation from Rooster Teeth’s 2D department
Experience wise, Jason actually one-ups Leonardo, as Leo has only been training/fighting into his teenage years, while Jason still gets involved in ranger activities in the modern day, well into his late 30's in 2020's Beast Morphers, meaning he has double the training as Leonardo.
I am happy to see the Power Rangers finally break their losing streak though it came at the cost of Leo losing his third fight but yeah the Rangers just needed to step out of the Zord since they lost with them three times. Next Time with Genos and War Machine, yeah that one will get a bit crazy but I'll talk about that more once you watch the episode.
During your prefight analysis. You were comparing PSI vs Tons. It's tricky to be sure but let me ask you this: how many square inches are in the mouth of that T Rex? Or at least on the surface area touching Leo's hands? I'm not a math wizard, but I'm guessing this math brings both combatants close to equal strength if we ignore the future ranger's boulder strength
If you didn't know (though sorry in advance if you already know), but Power Rangers is an adaptation of the original Japanese series, Super Sentai. Mighty Morphin Power Rangers is the 1st adaptation of the 16th Super Sentai series, Kyōryū Sentai Zyuranger.
I don’t blame you for not remembering Leo’s first fights, they were back in season 1, which was a lot less informative. I really liked this death battle, but I remember thinking the next one was kinda janky. Nice video
I was always a TMNT fan. I just couldn't get into Power Rangers. I love ninjas so much that I got into martial arts when I was a teenager & I got all the way up to black belt.
Yikes next time they are throwing in another Marvel/DC character just cuz. Like season 7 has 10/20 have either DC or Marvel or both. Like that is popular but damn.
@@cybersonic8472 Well yeah but it could've been anybody else from any other franchise. Good thing they cut that down by a lot in later season like this one had 10 next one has 5. Like I swear to God I was gonna burst a vain if Saitama went vs Squirrel instead of Popeye XD
I get it. I don't think that's the reason (it's Ninja Turtles and Power Rangers, it was going to happen regardless of win- or loss-streaks; they got an official crossover like a year later), but I get the sentiment.
Oh yeah totally felt like thst 100%. Especially in the fact that they didn't give him his standard Kaiju sized Dino-Robot nor the Power Blaster even tho they give other Power Ranger's other weapon in other MUs. Totally felt like they were giving an easy W, yeah for sure.
@@altxogershavelayers5166 He's not saying they messed with the data to give Jason the win. He's saying they matched Jason up against someone knowing that Jason couldn't lose, as a pity win because the Power Rangers franchise had lost all of its matches up to this point. I don't agree, but it's a common accusation when a losing streak is broken by a match that seems or is stompy (i.e. Ryuko vs Shadow). People have trouble balancing whether a match should be thematic, or balanced, and especially struggle with the fact that Death Battle almost always goes for thematic.

He was in a hurry to get trashed by Voltron.

Leo won his two previous fights.

Technically aren't both Splinter and Zordon breaking child labour laws?
Tell it to Batman.

@@Ris_Grestar Well, glad to give those specifics then!
Fun fact: After this episode was released, a TMNT and Power Rangers crossover comic came out
Man, I'm so glad you have returned 🙌
Here's a (joke!) Death Battle idea: Ris vs Wiz (just based on the shared opinion that Donatello's the best character!)
Glad ur back

Power Rangers is based on Super Sentai which has more serious tones

good for you
This is my favorite episode of S7 and honestly I don't think Power Rangers had a bad episode (at least I think so)
Fredy Fazbear vs Jason Lee scott, a very different fredy vs Jason.
Red ranger wins .💓💓❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️💞💞💞
Death Battles starting over food this season so far: 1
I can totally see Tommy not seeing a giant turtle if this was a power ranger show.
Hi
As much as I love a ranger W, they need to stop lowballing Power Rangers.
wonderful
At the end of the day power Rangers kill mutant monsters all the time. Its kinda there thing. It would be like putting Sonic vs Mega Man
To this day, I’m still upset about my favourite turtle being a loser. That fight hurt me inside. Hopefully Leo gets another match in the future.
Leo won two matches prior. He ties with Wonder Woman for having the highest win rate on the show.
@@yoder6162 Yeah, but at least Wonder Bread is still alive, not that I mind that. Unlike my poor Leo
