Fighting with half shields is so dumb. So basically you're hitting a helmet or a shield with your bare hands. I miss the old days - minus the damage the players who fought endured later on. Never mind, I take that all back.

I don't know how they can fight anymore. The helmets made it difficult, the addition of the visors make it almost impossible. A fighter is more likely to split open a finger on the edge of the opponent's visor.

History should never be a reason why a penalty is called or a play suspend-able. However, history can be a reason why the length of a suspension is increased. I like how they just plain out and said the only reason they gave a suspension was due to his history.

Does anyone know why, when the other guy, say, um... Wilson, is effectively using his left arm to keep Tinordi at bay (for a bit), Tinordi doesn't just chop down on the elbow of that left arm with his right fist to knock it away? Is that a separate penalty or something? You never see guys even trying that.
I mean Wilson’s prolly like 240 and benches more I’d guess. You could try it but you’re a) unlikely to have success and b) leaves yourself vulnerable to a grab then counter punch

Freaking Gabriel had to pick a fight with Kyle Clifford last night. Dude must have a serious inferiority complex and thinks that he has something to prove by fighting everyone he comes across.
Before his fight against Clifford I had never heard of him. I wouldn't say inferiority complex, its more this is the only way he can stay relevant/in the NHL, similar to Ryan Reaves.
