Sana that tool looks like a hand held auger. A piece of wood was placed into the hole at the top of it and you would turn it to create a hole on wood.
Interesting. How old is the drone footage? Place looks green in spite of the DISASTROUS dry/bush fire season. Inspiring farmer. I worry about the deforestation though.

A wood Auger
Paris Pharmacie Grande Grimaud. A pharmacy in Paris, France. Could be a medicine bottle. Did some research and found info. Amazing that all that work is being done by a man with one hand. What an inspiration.
