@@projectx7453 Yeah but it's slightly overrated compared to chapter 4 season 4, I can see myself feeling nostalgic about Last Resort (ch4 s4) even though I started in season 4 chapter 1.
but lets not forget we got freaking MILES MORALES (which at the time i was waiting for since chapter 3) ATTACK ON TITAN, AND ADVANCED LIGHTSABERS ( on and to top it all off we got a giant futuristic city) ALL IN CHAPTER 4 SEASON 2

I love the concept of Chapter 4 being how every season a new chunk of the island shows up to replace another leaving a bunch of new mechanics and items. It’s also very cool how the rift gate can now bring different realities together while the island is also trying to rebuild itself.

I don’t think part will be removed per say with the maps size for the first season at least and also it would fill in empty grass areas also where is steamy stacks it was in the event but it’s nowhere to be seen

kinetic blades, havoc pump shotgun, overclocked pulse rifle, return of web shooters, odm gear, loot island, loot caches, star wars update, spider man update, easter update. such an underrated season

I'd like to remind people that we went from Pirates to futuristic in Chapter 1, and from Primal to modern-day alien invasion in Chapter 2. The Medieval areas already had more futuristic technology than we do: Energy shields, bird drones with tractor beams, a stargate, hovering wagon things, hologram projecting things, etc. It's nbd for this game.

You can already tell with the AOT collaboration we're going to be able to use the omni-directional mobility gear, and with how incredible they've been doing with movement items like the spiderman gloves, grapple gloves, shockwave hammer, et cetera... this is definitely going to be fun to use.

It's not really a _cinematic trailer_ though, as it contains no story parts, no dialogue, nothing linking back to the Ch4S1 storyline about the Rift Gate and the Shapeless Man. In past seasons this would've been the battle pass trailer as it mainly showcases the battle pass skins and new game mechanics.
This is the coolest cinematic trailer they’ve ever made. Hands down.

Granted I haven't played too long (since chapter 2 season 8), I think this is the best season I've seen yet in the time I've played. From aesthetic and gear to character designing, I'm very excited to see how this turns out.

Its so cool seeing how Fortnite can transition one thing to another so fast. Like CH2 S2 when The Device created the wall of water. Then 2 days later, it fell and created CH2 S3 which was a water themed season. For this season, so amazing watching a Midevil times Era suddenly transition into a futureistic era. All thanks to that rift gate. If it weren't for the rift gate, CH4 S2 would be completely different. Cant wait to jump into FORTNITE MEGA!
