I would argue that Jones has done more to hurt the sport than he has to help it. True that he had a big spotlight on him during a crucial time in the UFC’s growth, but he also made HUGE, very public mistakes over and over. He never cleaned up his act and he confirms for people that are on the fence about the legitimacy of the sport that these guys are just roided out, wife beating, coke snorting dirtbags. He stifled the sports growth with his laundry list of horrible behavior.
