I cannot begin to tell you how much I appreciate this video. We have 10 sections of screens over jalousie windows (6’x3’) that I’ve been trying to figure out an affordable and DIY-able solution to for years. I already had this concept in mind and now I know it can be done and how to do it! Thank you many times over for the post. 🙏🏼

For those of you wanting to know, Frost king crystal clear vinyl. They sell it in various thicknesses, But the 4 mil seems to work Well on windows. I install regular screen material first so it faces the outside of the window as additional protection.

After watching several how- to videos, this is the first one that actually worked for me! Replacing worn out vinyl with 20 gauge marine vinyl on my Florida room. I have a slight pucker in one corner, but it's hardly noticeable and considering it was my first panel and fifteenth attempt with the piece of vinyl, I'll take it as a win.

This is great!!! Just what I needed. Glassine however is only showing up as a translucent film, not clear.

Will this plastic help divert or lessen the noise from my neighbors AC? I’m having my lanai restored and using some darker privacy screening in one area but this might be a good choice for the bottom screen area where I don’t want to give up a view of the water. My contractor told me that the privacy screening will help with the noise so will this product help at all? Thank you, and great video.

ive been looking for a business that makes these here in florida and came out empty. theres quite a few of ppl that make these types of plastic screens in PR. might just have to fly a guy here for measurements and then have them ship the product when done. these are very common in the island. im surprised they're not in florida.
