I absolutely love this. Merle was the grand old man at this time, still singing about drinking and drugging, although he had given up both by now. I saw many of his shows during this period of his life, and he was a total professional each time. The last show I watched, just a couple years before his parting, he featured his band mostly, and they were a group of superior musicians. Gone but never forgotten.

Back when I was much younger, my friends and I would jump on the motorcycles and go where ever we had to go to see the Hag in Concert. One of my favorite trips was when we left Tooele Utah for the Anihiem Stadium in California to see Merle in Concert... Thanks for all of the good times my friends and I had chasing you all around the country !!! Love You Merle, we miss you Buddy ???
