I think some kind of Chinese cabbage is correct, also known as bok choy. If you don't have a lot of people to feed these could be cut one or two at a time, starting a week or so sooner. Most likely could postpone up to a couple of weeks at the other side, but they don't take long to grow so stagger the planting for more continuous harvest.

What I don't understand is every time he grows something he doesn't harvest it in increments he harvest's all at the same time I just can't understand that thinking
a lettuce doesn't need all that soil preparation and won't grow with sawdust it robs the soil of nitrogen and greens can't grow. what's with the housewives dream . can't men eat them or dream about them ? why do you think a housewife would dream about 5 lettuce plants. which world are you from ?😂
