I stopped crocheting a while back to focus on school cuz my teachers kept catching me when i crocheted in class and my mum was not having it. I eventually forgot about it but this video just gave me so much inspiration I might even learn how to knit cuz I always thought you couldn't make anythign pretty with it. i saw the thumbnail and thought, oh you pulled two different reference pictures of kate's dress, what is the knit/crochet part in that, and then i clicked and my mouth reached the floor. an ENTIRE GOWN. you deserve the threadcraft equivalent of an oscar/grammy/etc. because the end result was SUPER gorgeous too. i've only ever crocheted mid-length dresses before and they're already so time consuming... so like. seriously. all the kudos to you

Regarding the oversizedness (that should be a word) of the vest, it might have been ok with weight 4 if you had used a slightly smaller hook, but I still think it looks really good!! Your ability to recreate these things are really awesome ❤

my jaw DROPPED and STAYED dropped while you were showing the end result of the bridgerton gown. it is GORGEOUSSSSS OMGGGGG it literally convinced me to get back into knitting. i gave up on it a while back and have been only crocheting for about 3 years now, but im excited to pick it back up! (and probably also cry a few times, part of the process 😌)
