A revamped and upgraded Hotel Presidential Enugu should offer subsidized/promotional accommodation to Igbo Diaspora families arriving Akanu Ibiam International Airport with their children. With free tour of Enugu ICC in the package, arrival in Igboland will become an unforgeable experience for young children born or living abroad and encourage them to frequent home when they start earning.
Our grand parents and great grand parents paid dearly to build these places. For example some peasants went to prison for failure to pay taxes while others were forced to work for free in those days. It is heart breaking to see places like Enugu railway station, Presidential Hotel, subway etc. fall into disuse and abandoned under our watch. It is disrespectful too. I am aware that not all of these fall under the state's responsibility, but please Gov Mbah, go right ahead and do your bit and and the people are with you.

    Very good. Excellent.
Seeing is believing: nwata fu n'anya o kwe!
Next, ask Gov Mbah to put out a public-private partnership tender for Hotel Presidential Enugu and bring it to par with Hotel Presidential Port Harcourt at least.

There is a difference between excellent and excellency.
If you want to respond, please first demonstrate a clear understanding of basic concepts.
We are not talking about "any other countries" but specifically ICC Enugu and I stand by the positive
feedback portrayed here. Ironically, blokes like you were there when Ugwuanyi sat there and did nothing for 8 long years.
Now you have issueswith the word excellent used to describe the ongoing work on the site. So would you rather the site
      remains desolate?

Chimaroke did so well to conceptualize and start up this project. It's a shame successive governments have abandoned such a fascinating edifice ever since. Thanks to Governor Peter Mbah

I will like the name to be O42 Arena.Or if we leave it as Enugu international conference center, then will should take a bold step and build a 10,000 capacity arena that should be called 042 Arena where we will be hosting our Christmas road block and other great events.

Not a big deal! All i see are praise singers; the governor must be impressed
Enugu desperately needs an independent power station similar to the geometric aba power project
Anything as little as 50 megawatts for a start will be great and will attract massive investment
At this age and time, it is really shameful that the government is still making noise about building roads and conference centers
Don't get it twisted; the governor is doing great and will be far better than his predecessors

@Chukwuebuka520 dude, cut yourself some slack! "Geometric was built by a private individual," and then what?
So basically, the governor should go to sleep and await private individuals?
The governor can work on attracting your so-called private individual by introducing some dynamic government policies and incentives. Is Barth Nnaji not a son of the soil?!
